I wish that, now Covid is over, they'd put those desks back together. It's lovely to see the reactions of team members, which are missing now.
I'm not great at spotting the lies, but when she jumped straight ahead to "I accidentally left from a great height" and then didn't come back to that for most of the story, that suggested that she had way too much confidence in how the story was going to end up for it to be an off the cuff lie

"Trying to impress a date?" It was a stupid accident in front of a guy she'd already decided she wasn't interested in.

The thing that made me think it's a lie is the inconsistency regarding transport. Was it a taxi, or an Uber? Both were mentioned.

James is from Kettering, Maisie is from a little north of Leeds. 180 km or so apart, so not the same area...

I've said it before and I'll say it again; I cannot believe that's her haircut. She's funny, but I can't take her seriously looking like a 3 year old cut her hair... 😅
The problem for me is she’s not funny. Her uncle was deputy director of the BBC which is why she gets these TV gigs. I think the haircuts just there to try make her stand out, as her sub par comedy is obviously not suitable for this.

Have some empathy, she couldn't afford a hairstylist.

I've not seen her a lot a lot, I'm in Canada & watched a lot of British comedy up until about a year or two ago.
I've seen quite a few things that she's been on... and I'd argue that out of the newer comedians, she's doing more than fine.
Now with respect to anything that she's doing in particular or on her own without it being a panel series... I really wouldn't know.
Perhaps they have to edit her stuff quite a bit? But overall she comes across more than fine!
