Crush is a k-R&B vocalist (who sometimes raps as he did in this song). He’s very popular in Korea and has been for many years. I’m sure if you heard some of his OSTs you’d recognize them right away (assuming you guys watch kdramas)
Crush and Red Velvet are my favorite k-pop artists.

I love this song so much, this song is such a J-Hope vibe. And yeah, J-Hope is shining, as he should.
First things first I love the beat and both crush and Hobi slayed their parts.
Also I love the little Mic Drop reference hobi did in the choreo.
The beat is also so catchy and I love the lyrics too and I also love how 'busy' the MV is and I also love the way the lights are and the colours and just the all round atmosphere of it.
All in all I love it all.
J-Hope did not do the choreo, he only wrote his verses. P-Nation has their own choreographer’s. That is Crush’s label, which is owned by Psy.
Wish people would give more credit to crush, it’s his song and he wrote and produced it. And he’s one of biggest soloist in Korea not to mention he’s one of best vocalist in Korea. IU even said recently that crush can do a remake of one of her best ballads “lullaby” because she felt the song found its “owner”. I don’t think j hope stole the show at all. Maybe this exposure will introduce crush to more international audiences. Hes already a household name. Please check out his rnb, hip hop and ballads discography to fall in love !

No one is saying otherwise, it was kinda obvious what was going to happen if we think about the exposure hoseok already has and how well known his name is around the world, but I haven't seen any comment out of place made for Crush. Crush is one of the most famous soloist in South Korea so I don't think anyone is overlooking him.

But unfortunately I’ve seen many reactions and handful of comments today undermining crush. Just felt real bad because crush is incredible in his own right. But I guess this is what an artist gives up when collaborating but an insanely popular person like j hope. If anybody hasn’t checked out crush’s other work. Do it now! Won’t regret

I really loved this fusion of Funk and Boombap rap for this. Actually, Crush is a genius for getting Hobi on this track specifically bc Hobi just did a whole album with boombap rap (JITB)

I really got James Brown vibes from this song. And as I listened to the songs I realized Crush actually referenced James Brown quite a bit (from the funk undertones and the brass sample, to Crush mimicking James Brown with the “OOW OOW” in the chorus, and Crush saying get on up in the chorus which is James Brown’s biggest song)

It was released on crush’s TH-cam channel which only had 400k subs and it yet pulled good numbers, if it was released on the bts channel it would have pulled more. Also they revealed Jhope being the ft. Only 2 days prior.
Crush said in his TH-cam channel, that he practiced the Rush Hour choreography everyday in 2-3 weeks, and then complaining that here's J-Hope saw the choreography once & learned the whole dance routine in just 30 minutes . LMAO. 🤭😂

I would recommend looking more into Crush! He's a mainstream vocalist in South Korea, often known for his R&B and Jazz Funk influences, vocal prowess (seriously his falsettos and runs are amazing), and OSTs for Kdramas! If you're interested, I would recommend some songs like: Looking 4, NAPPA, Sometimes, Ohio, None, and Sofa
