I don't understand Chinese but heard this song in the early 90's, and loved the melody of it. I just know it has the word snow in it. Today i heard it in English from watching a 1 min. short youtube video, I checked to see if Jackie sings it in English as well. It turned out it was sang by Michael Learns to Rock group. v. disappointed that the Lyric doesn't even make good sense. Still love the tune. Blessings
The lyrics are actually a little sad as the song's title literally translate as Farewell Kiss. The music using Chinese instruments added to the lustre of the song as it matched the mood.
After listening to MLTR for so many years and Take Me To Your Heart being my most favourite song, I found out about Jackie Cheung song now and that too through a comment
The funny thing is, the translation is completely off. The title literally means "Kiss Goodbye" and is a tragic song, not a romantic one. Both versions are still great, though.
This song n Jacky's rendition touches my heart strings. Never bored listening even after playing numerous times. I m now a fan of JC. 😍😍😍
I knew this song and TMTTH many years but till now i just know TMTTH is the covered one
