Sir pls clear this doubt ......the profit and loss suspense a/c that we Dr. While giving the profit of Deceased partner ......why that is shown in the asset side of new balance sheet ?

because it has debit balance right ? and all accounts with debit balance except nominal accounts are kept at asset side just like partners current account if it has debit balance , advertisement suspense account etc. and finally pnl suspense is transferred to debit of pnl at the end of year

It is like prepaid expense, we paid the partner his share before it was due, so it'll be shown on asset side till the year end
