My problem with these techniques - particularly the first and third - is that I don't trust techniques that rely on your opponent being a weak kicker or pulling their technique. Of course, they should pull their technique somewhat for safety in a grading or training, but if your defence relies on it then surely it is a flawed defence? Hammer-blocking a kick with your wrist will just break your wrist if the opponent is a powerful kicker and doesn't pull their kick as much as you expect.
Hi, I am training for 1 Kyu and am looking to your vids in great detail. very informative. thanks. Oss
Thank you!! I am soon going to 1. kyu and i had completely forgotten it. Good quality (: I will subscribe
No. 3 mawashi geri is one of my favorites.
Very smooth, yet excellent accuracy of Mawashi geri......Osu from a Kyokushin Karateka san kyu =)
thankyou for sharin this!
how can you distinguish btw mae geri and mawashi geri in this plit second? or would you move in anyway?
I would like to see a defense against a front leg mawashigeri, cause many times we can be attacked by a guy who just is a front leg user.

According to my Karate experience, you shouldn't lift the back heel. Especially in counterattacks 🤔
