    Very nicely presented sir . (government issuing securities(Bonds) which are IOU 's are auctioned , Banks , national and international buyers buy for the INTERESTS on IOUs . That interest + capital accumulates as DEBTS , and interest payment creats ADDITIONAL TAXES) . IF THAT WAS ALSO INCLUDED IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A BEAUTY OF A LECTURE IN HOW CURRENCY IS CREATED . MAY BE TIME ELEMENT WAS ONE REASON for ommiting .THANKS FOR FINE LECTURE .

    Sir, want info about printing more notes based on demand, contingency addition of currency notes, also, I heared on some other TH-cam video that, in India there is more money in circulation than that is printed by RBI i.e Fake currency printed in other countries, using the same machine and material we use and circulate it in India a Financial Terrorism against our Nation is it true ? How this will affect our economy? How as a citizen we can avoid it and safeguard our nation ?

      Gold is considered valuable all over the world. So if Paper currency is backed by gold.. it is equivalent to gold.

    Israel sir, Thank you for those lectures, I have a doubt,
    Indian economy was developing stage during 2013, so RBI have printed currency according to 2013 GDP value, next year 2014 economy was faced decline due to demonetization. But currency which was printed last year is still circulating in our economy even our GDP value got declined almost 50% of last year. Then how our RBI has managed this situation? because the surplus currency in economy may lead to inflationary situation.

    • @IsraelJebasinghOfficial
      @IsraelJebasinghOfficial  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      RBI has several tools to control inflation. Just by increasing CRR the currency in circulation in economy can be reduced

    What's the motive of keeping reserve and why only 'gold' was chosen for reserve?

    • @kuttymoonji3645
      @kuttymoonji3645 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Anything can be used as reserve if it has qualities such as durability, portability, divisibility,u uniformity, limited supply, acceptability. Somehow gold satisfied all these requirements.
      Apart from gold others metals also can be used as money or reserve. Currency is not a money. It's a bill backed by the money. We humans giving more values to gold (acceptability). If everyone start to neglect gold then it will lose the value. But it's never going to happen anyhow.
      Why we have to maintain reserve? Reserve is nothing but our energy in another form. So that we can use it later. How can We buy gold? We have to work. How gold can be mined? Someone has to put his hard labor to mine.

    I have a doubt
    For example:
    GDP : 225 lakh crores(current Financial year)
    Last year GDP: 200 lakh crores
    So the GDP has increased to 25 lakh crores currently...
    Then , whether RBI prints 25 lakh crores or 225 lakhs crore..
    And why do Gold and Foreign currencies has to be reserved for 200 crores... what is the objective of it reserving and reserving a certain amount???
    And why does the USD is increasing its value 1USD is 83 INR... whether the economy of USA is increasing or Indian economy is decreasing??
    Japan is developed country but still it is only 50 paise for 1 Yen...?? Why..despite they are good in exports...??
