Did Lindsay Hubbard Return Her Engagement Ring to Carl Radke? | WWHL

- Lindsay Hubbard from Summer House says the last time she spoke to Carl Radke face to face was three weeks after the break-up. She also confirms that Carl is still paying half of the rent, like Danielle Olivera previously revealed on WWHL, and adds that they re-signed their lease a month before he broke up with her. Lindsay also says that Carl demanded she give her engagement ring back and reveals that she’s started dating again.

Carl probably broke up on camera so that Lindsay could not control the narrative or spin it.
Of course he wanted the ring back, so he could pay half of her rent.
These two got together because they were both lonely. They were not compatible. She is controlling and he wanted someone hot to love him.

For someone with a background in PR, Lindsay really hasn't figured out how to make herself likeable.
There is law and then there is etiquette.. STFU Lindsey… etiquette is giving the ring back. The ring was given as a promise to marry and if the marriage never happened you give it back. It is the right and proper thing to do. If you’re married then the ring belongs to the you. I can’t stand her.
Even though Lindsay said Carl "demanded" it back, you know she had every intention of keeping the ring had it not been for a NY state law stating you must give it back if there's no wedding.
In this situation I would keep it too. Say what you want about Lindsey but he did her dirty. Karl knows her very well even before they dated. He still decided to propose to her and went along with wedding planning down to flying family out. I highly doubt she changed that much from proposal to breakup. You can’t drag someone along like that and pull the rug from under them last minute.
@@athena4519 You can break with someone whenever you want. No one is entitled to be in a relationship. Carl had every right to break up with Lindsay and it's great that he did it before they got married.
@rrrrrrrrrrrrrrr631 Duhh... No one said he couldn't break up with her. In fact, I'm glad he did. I knew this relationship wasn't going to last and was hoping they figured that out before getting married. Carl just seems like he's going through a midlife crisis and doesn't know what to do next in his life. He probably thought getting married would make him feel like his life was progressing as it should in some way. He knew Lindsay already loved him and would say yes. I dont actually think he ever thought she was the "one" for him. Regardless, Lindsay is not saying that he was wrong because he broke up with her. It's the way he did it that was dirty. Im not saying Lindsay is perfect. I think she's overbearing and probably very difficult to be with. I just think if you love someone, you would try to inflict the least amount of harm on them that you possibly can even if its a breakup. Planning your break-up conversation/scene with the producers first and then holding off on doing it because you're waiting for the camera crew to get there to get her blindsided reaction is gross.
@@athena4519 it's very apparent that this engagement was all for show or THE SHOW! I think people on these shows get swept up in the media spotlight and don't necessarily do things for love. So I don't even think Carl ever really loved Lindsay, especially by the humiliating way her broke up with her. Although she was insufferable accusing her sober fiance of being "on something" on numerous occasions. That's an awful to do to an ex-alcoholic/party boy which could lead them to relapse and shows Lindsay is self centered and lacks empathy. She wanted to keep the ring and I'm glad Carl and the state of New York made sure she didn't!
He broke it off. She should keep it!

Ettiquette says: If the man breaks an engagement the woman keeps the ring. If the lady breaks an engagement she normally gives the egagement ring back.
Girly pop, people go through break ups all the time with home’s involved. Some even have to live together and figure it out because they cannot afford to pay 2 places. He doesn’t owe you the rent…
He does owe her his half of the rent. He signed the lease with her. Why should she have to leave? He could have stayed there too, but instead chose to leave.

Stop with the lindsay hate! Carl IS a liar. Carl was telling us he was sober when he wasnt! Hes California sober. He would have kept the "sober" train going forever until he knew his secret would come out by lindsay and was forced to admit he smokes weed still. HES AS BAD AS HER. Sick of the hate towards lindsay. Id watch her over carl ANY DAY. And i didnt even like her until i saw how much hate she was getting even though hes a liar. Carl paying 1/2 the rent is way less expensive than marrying and ultimately divorcing Lindsey.
She wants the law followed when it comes to him paying half the rent but not when it comes to her having to give him back the ring.
