I love my 440 Vanquish only 2 tones two learn, 1-17, 18-40 with my V8 coil I kill it in trashy parks and this detector is perfectly balanced, making it a breeze to swing. I will never buy another detector; I sold my Legend and my Simplex+ is now listed on Ebay. I like hunting shallow stuff less than 8'', that is where most of the jewelry is and 90+% of the coins. And the vanquish is more stable on VDI numbers then Nokta's 1-99 ID. The only thing I wish the Vanquish had is notching out 1 number at a time, instead of 5 at a time. I notch out 1-4 and 16-20, I may miss some gold, but 40% of gold rings are found on the numbers 5, 9, 13.
Lol same history on me, 3 years using simplex then i bought legend ,and sold both.Now i have vanquish and its amazing ,so much diference so stable on beach ,catching many more more targets and deeper on beach

Get your oldest detector and oldest pinpointer and take them out on a hunt ! I’d like to see a video if maybe one day you have the patience

I use a kline bag works well, keep as a backup in the car with a extra digger and pinpointer.
