I assume you mean on the beach? I'm not sure -- it's great behind the boat and I've seen Austin Keen do some killer beach starts but I'm not sure how well it would compare to other beach skim boards. I'll do a little research and get back to you. I've only used it behind the boat and it was killer.
Hi Bryan -- cool. It may be a couple days given the Liquid Force folks are out. I imagine that Austin Keen would be killer on the beach but want to be 100% sure before you lay out the $$$.
Hi Bryan - just got work back from Liquid Force: "No, our skim boards are meant for behind the boat. The rocker lines and more importantly durability are drastically different." Sorry about that! Tim
I thought it was great. That said - I'm more of a wakesurfer than a skim board rider. My favorite of the Skims was the Keen - mostly because of the rail engagement. That said - you can't go wrong with any of these boards.
@@cadenewell5736 The TC skim is probably the best epoxy skimmer out there. Was designed like 8-10 years ago or something with Tommy Czeschin, and never released until 2020. People were dying to grab this board out of my shop last year. If you get a chance to ride one, definitely take it!
Can I skimboard on shore with this board?
