It's interesting to hear how the prop making took steps in just the couple years between seasons. Something to think from information security field, I hope Katie and Emily have information on what the bodyscans are used for and how they are handled. Disney now has somewhere in their databases a 3d scan of Katie. That's quite personal information, and I hope it is treated that way.
@galliewokgaming I was under the impression that JDF was asked to be in it and apparently appreciated what Joseph Kahn & Adi Shankar were doing with it, but declined to appear as Tommy Oliver due to believing that Power Rangers should remain generally family-friendly (which "Power/Rangers" aka Power Rangers Unauthorized" wasn't, due to how it looked at the Power Rangers concept through the lens of teenagers & young adults being conscripted into intergalactic war and the consequences of what they would have experienced).
@@generalilbis maybe, I don't remember honestly. I remember it being out the same time I started hearing about Legend of the White Dragon. My brain may just be associating the two.
@galliewokgaming Fair enough. My own basic bit of Google Fu came up with Power Rangers Unauthorized as the MMPR short film Katee was in as a version of the Pink Ranger, but the stuff I've seen about Legend of the White Dragon makes it a fairly similar product.
@@generalilbis that movie was delayed 3 times and then it was supposed to finally release last September on Jason’s birthday and that came and went with nothing. At this point I think Bat in the Sun is just stringing people along and the film is never gonna see the light of day.
Yes. When you cast someone, you make a mold that makes the part (resin, metal or whatever). When you scan someone in 3D, you have choices. You can 3D print a mold, but usually you just print the part.
They are using "Cast" as a noun for the Item that was Cast. Therefore, "Casted" is not really a past tense verb, it's the thing you do to make a Cast. It's still wrong, but I understand the usage.
It actually is a word. It's an adjective that means having or belonging to a caste. It hasn't been used in the English language since the days of William Shakespeare.
Holy Hell... I never knew Katie was a Power Ranger!! LOL
Yeah! It was a really cool webisode that was a “what if” “where are they now” kind of thing with a dark tone.
It's prolly still.on Here somewhere, James VanderBeek was in it too. It was quite good.
They tried to kill the video but people keep posting it.😂
thats such a total transformation to go from this really nice and well spoken lady to the armorer. my mind is kinda blown by that
Katee, are you sure that guy was attached to the production?
So, we're finally at Looker (film) stages of technology then?
Awesome ❤❤❤❤❤

Sackhoff was the pink power ranger???
Yes and no. She did a "What If" type of thing for an internet video. James Van Der Beek played the bad guy. It was like 10 minutes long.
hooooolddd it, when was Katee a Power Ranger?!
It was a small internet video Jason David Frank put together to try and revitalize the Power Rangers.

Sounds 3d printed. Like the tech Iron Man uses.

* "Cast" ... there is no such word as 'casted.' The past tense of 'cast' is indeed 'cast'

@CorwinPatrick - I get it, but it's clearly being used as a verb.

If you understand what they mean, it's not wrong
@@galliewokgaming - It has not been in use since Shakespeare. It's only real usage was in the time of Shakespeare, but it has not been in use since.
