How do you know when they have misprint tails available? They don't have a spot on their website that I can find.
Merhaps you just have to swim in the right social loop?
Sometimes they post about misprints in the “official mertailor pod” Facebook group!
I emailed the mertailor team and asked if they wanted to collaborate with me on this video - they said they could give me a little discount and showed me a list of misprint full tails to choose from as well 😊
Great video and awesome mermaid tail! ;) It would be so cool if you could turn the following story into a little short film this summer: A human swims in the pool. Suddenly a girl appears and enters the pool where she turns into a mermaid. But she is evil and attacks. With the human in danger another girl appears who turns into a second mermaid after she gets also into the pool. She and the evil mermaid battle. The human can flee from the pool and after her defeat the evil mermaid leaves the pool and, still with her tail, tries to get away as quickly as she can, leaving behind the good mermaid and her intented victim.
Such a short movie could be a great acting practise and Nermaid Faith would be so great as evil mermaid, I´m sure. :)

I think my favs are the Rainbow Shock, Pixie Lagoon, and Pandora Coast! The Venus Raspberry is also beautiful and reminds me of Aurora!! The Salmon lagoon is my least favorite.

I personally prefer the original fantasea fin because it’s just so much lighter and easier to transport - plus you get the option of whimsy tails AND the full tails like the one in this video!
BUT the FF3 is definitely bigger and maybe a bit prettier? It’s a tough call for sure - I love them both!

Ah yeah that does help! I am not that tall either, around 5'3'' and same shoe size as you I think. Got a finfun right now so it'll be bigger either way ☺ But true that the ff3 might be a bit more elegant. Might draw out the sizes of them with a measuring tape, to see what that shows me hahaha

It's when you order the tail, the transaction goes through, then you see another tail you think you would've liked better: -_-
And then the tail comes and you love it so much and are never going back and it's more than you could've ever dreamed and it's better than you could've thought and it's so sparkly and perfect and you love it so much and it's better than every other tail you ever seen and you couldn't have made a better choice and the color is absoutly amazing and you can't physically comprehend and you're keeping the bag forever and you're going for a swim right now and you're never looking back and it's simply the greatest purchase ever and evnr if you're thousands in debt you love it and have no regrets

How do you feel about the comfort level of the cheaper tail skins? I have a whimsy tail that I love but there are a ton of designs I really like in the cheaper tail skin and I'm wondering if they're as comfy and lovely as the whimsy skins!

Thank you so so much! On the size chart, there should be a floor to waist measurement and that’s the one you want to take into account for your height! They are quite stretchy 😊

I really really want to have a mermaid tail, and actually i can afford one from finfun. But I'm really scared of that someone will see it, and also i am making some interesting projects and i need some studio lighting for it and a tripod. So i don't know what should i do! I have 103€ saved up. And each set (mermaid tail or studio things) costs almost the same price. I'm stuck at this point right now..
I used to be scared of people seeing my mermaid tail too and I wouldn't tell anyone about it... Now it's my job to post about mermaid tails on the internet! Life is way too short to care about what others think of you, you have to do what makes you happy! Sounds like either purchase will be very great so just go with your gut and keep saving!
