It'll easily last for 5-6lakh kms, has loads of space for passengers and luggage making it very practical... and since your driver will be driving, you don't care if has a company fitted reverse camera or a shoddy aftermarket fitment. Neither are your passengers going to bother if it has any sort of creature comforts. But if it's a family car you are looking for, then you have many other lovely options at this price point... and you don't have to buy this slab sided practical bread box, because, like most private car owners, you'd anyways sell your car before it even touches 1 lakh kilometres. 👍🏻

Diesel engines can run more kilometers than petrol engines. Bcz the combustion is more is petrol engines. It reduced the life by increase in wear and tear.... Even i own a tata bolt diesel. Odo: 1,35,000 km and still its buttersmooth. ❤️
If not giving features Toyota should've tuned this 2.4 to produce more Power and Torque, from 150PS and 360Nms to like 170-177PS and 400Nms, atleast🤷🏻♂. Toyota claims the 2.4 AT produces 150PS and 360Nms but on dyno many Crystas have produced 156PS and almost 390Nms (stock), dont know how🤷🏻♂
its not 20-21 lacs, taxes are especially higher for innova crysta due to more than 2k cc engine, got my base variant automatic diesel last December in around 26 lacs mainly because of insane amounts of taxes which comprises of ATLEAST half of the total cost of car, trust me, not kidding!
and its GX limited edition with rear parking camera already attached, and then I added some more things like semi-leatherette seats to upgrade the comfort and interior looks.

For me it's still overpriced, because these days all cars are reliable enough. People don't use cars for like 10 years or so, hence this car won't make sense for most people. However, if you intend to keep it running for 10 years or maybe you drive a lot, this is hands down the best car out there.

I have owned Toyota Etios petrol for more than 10yrs now and over 1 lacs KM. Have only done 1 service per year , that's it. Sometimes my car maintenance was less than my activa.
This is just basic car with all practical features this is car for people who only drive car not want useless features and who have family also go with trip and reliability just blindly go for this car if you have extra money than choose higher varient or top model or just modified the base model 👍.

Crysta base automatic diesel owner here since December last year, not a day goes by when I wanna drive it to feel its awesome drive experience :D Been using manual sedans until then, so decided to switch to automatic.
