I remember sometimes after passing my 2b license in 2009 there was this bike shop in AMK industrial area selling RXK for just SGD 600, but he said the bike need further repairs cost up to $1200.
Being a broke young guys who just ORD, I didnt have $1800 in my bank so I had to pass from buying it. This was a time when new bike like Yamaha X1-R or Bajaj Pulsar 400cc cost just S4000 including COE. Those day are long gone and I still regret didnt borrow money abit from my parents to buy that RXK lol

I have 1989 rx 100 ....RX THE LEGENDARY AND DAD OF ALL MOTORCYCLE .....THE SOUND 😍💨...the pick up of the all rx is extremely high and u feel like In roller coaster 😅
And this are the bikes in Yamaha RX 2 strokes starting from rx 100,rx135,rx135 -5speed ,rxg135,rxz135,rxk135,rxs115. And the father of all this bikes is RD 350 💯🌪️ and this is the dark side of japan 🔥

i met a malay guy who also own this bike, he said it top speed can reach 180km per hour, i ask him how he modify, he said he never modify anything except tune for more fuel, and he also said this bike got no airbox and air filter, so this give an idea of anyone wanna to increase horse power by just remove the airbox and filter, tune for more fuel to match the air, however mine have done this, except i install k&n air filter, my next move is to relocated the air filter outside the engine bay to allow to suck in cold air, all this modify is legal, changing the exhaust pipe is illegal , and risk of getting caught by LTA while riding on the street, first time fine is $500, second will be $1000 and another more more time, go to court, this is not worth it, unless you going to race with someone else with a lot of money and you no sure win

@@tambakoverlanders 180kph that what he said, and i found out that the speed meter is not accurate, i saw a youtube it go 180kph in speed meter and rpm only 9000, and i have check it wheel it only 90mm, it should be at 152kph instead of 180kph, another youtube use gps it rpm is 11000 and gps show only 115kph, however my bike at only haft throttle it go 9000 rpm, it wheel is front 90/90mm rear 180/90mm, 2 stroke good and fast only for pick up long distant the bike will get very hot and decease power
