"His words were like a sharp arrow,
stricken and passed through my heart
but the pain was somehow narrow,
because my eyes were stuck on his perfect face"
(here is a little poem i wrote while listening to you speak)
thank you for the Tips, really appreciate them.

Wonderful. Thank you. I believe getting to know your poem is the most important suggestion, as all else is derived from that.

Hi can I get some suggestions on this poem ..... If any modification out there I want to konw . please help me....
    Or you can add something....
    I am someone who loves
    The sea and its waves,
The seamless blue, that melts the hearts of brave,
    My ship is my life
And i open her sail when the wind is crying,
Waves of the ocean no matter how terrifying,
I will sail it through, cause i am navigator for life
    I am someone who loves
The flag, on the mast flying, so high
Cause that's the way we pride,
When there's a beep on my radar,
    And a ghost ship
    Far on running tide,
It's a call of duty that may not be denied,
    I am someone who loves
    Seating on the quarter deck,
Seeing the sun rising in the wake,
    Dolphin dancing on the waves,
Feeling, the sea water on my Face,
Cross the equator everytime when i sail,
    I would like to
    Die like a brave,
    Buried at sea
Where no would mark my grave.

A couple of points. Your performance is your interpretation. Others will have other interpretations: you are both right.
Also on the happy and smiling thing: Context!!! If you are about to do a piece on the Holocaust or 9/11, walking out with a beaming smile and a spring in your step will come over as insensitive at best, and may actively insult part of your audience before you even open your mouth.
