Literally the best Aub has ever played offense against Alabama & they lost bc the defense couldn't stop a nosebleed. AUB goin Tommy Tuberville & kicking 3 fg to start didn't help but my god Marshall was throwing darts. So underrated. He never gets brought up but fella could play his ass off
Big 12 game has 100 points scored: "These are terrible teams with no defense" SEC game has 100 points scored: "tell your grandkids about this one! Classic!"
I disagree when people say that the Big XII's weekly shootouts are an inferior brand of football. They play some really exciting games in that conference. That said, I personally found this game very frustrating. I guess I tend to be more defensively minded and was just about pulling my hair out at the defensive breakdowns.
Most 'Bama fans would tell you that this is not a classic, or that this incredible lack of defense is actually kind of embarrassing (which it is.) The only teams that even pretend to play any sort of defense in the BIG 12 are K-State, Texas, OU, and TCU. Other than that, pretty boring watching 50-60 point games every week. Defense wins championships, and 'Bama proves that nearly every year.
They were good and could've won it all, but the D was lacking since every team threw deep on them. 'Bama defense was better against the pass in 2015, with the addition of Minkah Fitzpatrick coming in, as well as Eddie Jackson moving to safety instead of corner, and Cyrus Jones having a great year at corner. Not to mention the pass rush with Tim Williams and Ryan Anderson. You just can't say that this could've been Alabama's best year when the defense just wasn't up to par with Saban's other teams.
Best and most exciting game I've ever gone to!

Such a Gus Malzahn thing to do. Get inside the 15 yard line and kick FGs. Lol
23:14 it almost looks like the TD run he had at Auburn a year later
When you could’ve put 60 on’em but you don’t because I guess you changed your mind about it ...and the Gus bus burns
One of only 3 iron bowls not on cbs since the year 2000.
Amari Cooper’s Browns single game record 265 yard game brought me here
It was cute that Auburn tried an onside kick with 20 seconds left and down by 11 points.
12:12 DeAndrew White got FUCKED up
Thanks for sharing
ROLL DAMN TIDE!
As a bama fan I really miss nick marshall 🎯🐐

+marktastic86, yeah like the Oklahoma at Oklahoma State game last year.
Blake sims was atrocious.
all auburn needed was a few touchdowns in the game would have been over
Couldn't that be said about any game?
Auburn fan here. What we needed was a prime Richard Sherman and Ed Reed to shut down cooper.
2014 would have been bamas best year if they had a good qb
Not true. The 'Bama defense couldn't stop a deep pass if they'd had 12 guys out there on every play.
marktastic86 then how were they 1 how did they this year and in 2015

marktastic86 saban being the best coach in football history could have easily changed his defense
Our defense struggled that year.. We gave up a lot of points
