    As soon as I hear Baler I think "Charlie don't surf" 😂 Seen a few black sand beaches down on Mindanao, volcanic mineralised sand?
    Used to find quite a bit of gold on repulse Bay beach Hong Kong, and pattaya in Thailand back in the 1990's.

    Beautifully made video Scuba Guy. Unfortunately all the new coins are now made from steel with various coatings applied, but I think the 10 Peso is still the same. Is it the Philippines you want to visit? Definitely get permission before you detect on any land. in terms of locations anywhere in the world look for areas where people visit in large quantities. Parks, bathing or swimming areas etc always going to find lost items of interest.

      Erwin Barbosa it’s a bit crazy in Hong Kong now as is the rest of the world . I like the idea of a treasure hunt in the Philippines. Other than a basic holiday I don’t think it’s something I would put significant investment on for a treasure hunt. One thing you need to understand is for the type of machine I use it detects to around 20” depth for yamashita gold site you’d need ground penetration radar to see if the is large objects . I know the exact machine for this and can obtain through a friend from the company. Maybe when covid19 stops I’ll make a treasure hunt trip to the Phils.

    • @ScubaGuy
      @ScubaGuy  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Usually you have to get permission for real treasure hunting.Unless its on your own land. Me I was just cleaning the beach and recirculating coins back into public use.Sometimes I get followed by children so I give them all the coins I find. If I did manage to find some real treasure I'm a very honest person and would declare this. It belongs to the Philippines not me. My wife is from the Philippines and I have a home and land in the Philippines so technically I'm almost a filipino myself. For me history is very important to preserve. So any historical finds I would ensure they get recorded and documented correctly and I would never keep anything any artefacts would be given to local museums.
