the "sucking of the paycheck" is real though, best card in this game is a creditcard.

I been playing Lyira dragon soul deck on ladder for the last couple months with about 55% win rate. Most wins are from dragon soul and lyra summoning a board full of 5/5 or from getting lich king on turn 5-6 and just keep resurrecting him. Prophet Velen also helps a lot, spirit lash is often a full heal. I only run lich king, prophet, lyra, and elementals. Shadow Essence and Vivid Nightmare make this deck much more consistent and powerful, as soon as you get Lyra you drop and copy elementals so your spells get cheaper and cheaper and in no time their board is clear and you are full health and have a bunch of 5/5s. They wipe your board you spell stone and go again. I will sometimes get a damage spell from Lich King and copy or summon multiple Prophets for an OTK (I don't use holy smite). This is by far the most fun deck I've played this expansion.

Since winning isn't a thing anymore, odd shaman is surprisingly fun, the power you get from 2 spell totems, and sustain you get from 2 healing totems is insane some games 😂
I think dragon soul is kinda a win condition, or maybe shadowreaper for the 2 damage? Also archbishop can steal some pretty good stuff

The point of the exercise for this deck is to outlast anything. Defensive play is my favourite, so I love this old deck.

Eh, my main deck is a control mage with no win condition. Just around 10 high cost legendaries, including Jaina, Sindragosa (generates 2 more), Alextrasza, Lich King, Pyros (3 cards in 1), Antonidas, Toki (generates 1 more), Elise (potentially gives more) and Luna's Pocket Galaxy. Everything else is control spells and a few other minions, like Water Elementals, some early drops to contest the board, and taunts. It's pretty fun to play, I keep getting weird legendaries off Toki, and even got a Yogg'saron off Toki, 3 times so far. It actually has a really good winrate against some decks, especially Shudderwok Shaman. I just play AoE's and removals early on, then play out all my stuff, hopefully for 1 mana, if I can squeeze in an LPG turn.
No win condition... OTHER than the lyra and 1000 dragon army. :^)

I have thought about miracle priest...
but there isn't a stable way to draw dragon soul and priest's control cards are not enough.
It will be very painful against midrange and tempo decks.
Can we have a Twilight Drake in there just for a general drop that can deal with Arcane Tyrants etc?

Practically every deck now uses Oozes or smth, he ve removed his second win condition, in case his weapon destroyed
Resnyk haven’t seen an ooze in weeks.... only deck that plays that is gennlock... (or control priest but shudderwock has seen to them)
Literally no decks run weapon removal bc there are almost no weapons outside of bakurogue

Using the Infinity Soul Stone is a huge crime. Thanos is angry cause you spend it's power to dragon summons.
I wanna see him play djinni priest again.
We now have cards like shadow vision, radiant elemental, void ripper, vivid nightmare. The deck would, therefore, require much less cycle. Other than that, we also have anti-aggro tools like spirit lash as well so the deck will become very powerfull.
