Great collection, I put like five of those on my wishlist. Just picked up collecting anime finally in 2023 and now it’s over 200 titles, I can’t believe I’ve missed out on so many shows but now I won’t run of anime to watch for years to come.

I just got into anime collecting ( my manga collection is pretty big and I decided I wanted to get physical anime aswell) ! Great video and dope collection bro! I have a question, do you care about the slip cases of your BD being messed up or you don’t mind that?? I recently bought the naruto BD sets on Amazon( some of them are $18) and the slip cases have dents on the corners and stuff, do you mind that or you don’t care at all?
Thank you! Most of the time I really don’t mind if the slip is messed up. It really depends on what Blu-ray it’s on and how messed up it is. I’ve Thrown some slips away if they have been too messed up or if the slip had a sticker that wouldn’t come off.

@@CommunitySpIash I own about 71 anime series and I got some in Blue=Ray and DVD, and The some of them I got both. I got lots of LE stuff and Some old stuff that people would have trouble finding. As for single cases? I'mma just say it's more than 150, if we talkin single disk. Idk, gotta make a video on it today lmao Already made a video on my manga and video game collection, now I gotta do one on my anime statue collection, as well.

I just started collecting anime, I have a few, I am not sure where to start, I could buy ones I have seen and love, or I could just buy ones, that I haven't seen. It's a lot of money, so I really only want ones I love.
I would say only get ones you really like first and only get ones that you haven’t seen if it looks good or if it’s cheap
Do you have Afro Samurai: The Complete Murder Sessions Blu-ray? The anime series star Samuel L. Jackson as Afro and Ninja Ninja. He's so super talented, right? I never knew Samuel L. Jackson got into Japanese anime. Although, I will love to see him at my own hometown convention Anime Boston and Fan Expo Boston at Boston, Massachusetts, United States.

I managed this over 5-6 years of 'collecting'
but stuff like the complete blu-rays of series and steelbooks aren't always available, like the new series of 'Kaguya -Sama: Love is War' or less on the radar shows like 'Oniai'.
Not to mention most of what you are showing is most likely Region 1 coding.
So I think it's awesome that you have access to 'the extra stuff', just wanted to make a point that it's not readily available everywhere.
Also I only just got hold of the Evangelion rebuilds and they are heavily overpriced, I managed to cheap out, because I got lucky.
The 3rd Rebuild is easily available, but the 1st and 2nd is hard to find nowadays.
You have a good collection too. I think the only reason why there so much anime here is because in the US we have a lot of companies that distribute it, but that’s crazy that they wouldn’t see that there also a big market in the uk of people that would buy anime.
@@CommunitySpIash We have Hmv and Shops like CeX for anime. Regarding Manga we don't have a 'Barns and Noble' but shops like Waterstones and Forbidden Planet. It's actually quite hard to get hold of a specific series that isn't new .
Online we have Amazon, and Ebay.
So the best options for choice is mostly online. And if you're lucky some rare finds pop up in CeX, otherwise all the new stuff comes from HMV when they have it in stock.
I have a question because I’m wanting to get anime Blu-ray’s but idk if I should get a new Blu-ray player or use my ps4 because I know the ps4 works with regular Blu-ray’s but not 4k resolution Blu-ray’s. Are anime Blu-ray’s just set for 1080p and not 4k resolution?
As of right now they only have Blu-ray’s.There’s only a few anime movies that are on 4K like ghost in the shell, but most anime are on dvd & Blu-ray. I would say you could just use your ps4 cuz there’s a lot of anime that are on Blu-ray.

That job really wasn’t necessary at all lol. I think the only reason why it was even a job was because it was raining a lot and people just humored them to see if they could really change the weather or not

Why do you like collecting so many blu rays when you can watch them on crunchy roll? Do you just enjoying collecting them?
I do enjoy collecting them, but I also buy them because some of the anime aren’t on streaming services. I just like knowing I can watch something without worrying about a streaming service loosing the rights to them.

Buying blurays shows the company how much fans love their show/movie. If it wasn’t for physical media collectors we wouldn’t get these blurays a lot of the time or limited edition box sets.
