I like the UMXs because I can fly them just a 5 min walk down the street in the park, instead of packing up the car and driving to the field like with the big boys .

A special 'thank you' to Capt. Alina for the intelligent questions and comments on batt life &c, and 1st class filming; it's good to be able to see the details, such as the torque rods for the flaps, ball linkages &c on these excellent little planes.
I guess my favourite of these two would be the Air Tractor, as its a low winger, and as such would be the PERFECT trainer for warbirds, especially as it has flaps & safe select in case of instability on landing. The yellow scheme, tail strut detail and pilot figure also are very cool.

PS. I have both the original Timber 1.5m and the UMX TT EVO. I actually believe that the big Timber is easier to fly as the UMX is small, quiet and very fast for its size ... it can get away from you very easily. Both are a lot of fun to fly.

That Air Tractor flies forever (10-12 minutes) with an 850mAh battery. You’ll need a plug adapter, but it fits just fine.

I just bought the umx air Tractor and I have flown and crunched the umx turbro timber. Its elevator stopped working so it crunched..
I'm lefthanded and use mode2 the one advantage is I can launch the aircraft with my lefthand and still have control of the AILEROOONNNNS! and rudder. 😊

Texas air Tractor, made 2 hrs away from me in Olney Texas. Big turbo prop birds. Good for crop dusting and fire fighting. Slovenia did good with this purchase.

The Spektrum NX6 seems enough to get into most of these Eflight BNF planes but for someone starting out the receiver is double the cost of the starter level plane. I saw your reviews of the OrangRx 6 channel and binding to it. Did you ever play with the 10 channel OrangeRx Tx10i? What options are out there to bring the starter radio down to where people just getting into the hobby can operate these Eflight BNF planes before investing a lot and finding out it's just not for them?
