Yes, Tabletop Simulator is a lot of fun :) At least when not spending hours and hours in the workshop, lol. It is easy to get lost in, rather than just focus on the minimum required to get going. I hope you like PUM v8 if you pick it up!
All your work is awesome but I'd love to have a hardcover book a la Mythic 2E with PUM, SUM, GUM, PQ and all your supplements and (almost) pages at the end of the book for plot hooks and notes and so on... If you bundle it with Play by the Writing, it would :chef's kiss:.
Hi @@jeansenvaars, after using 5.5 a lot I bought yesterday your version 8. It really seems to be an upgrade to this already good working system. Well done! While reading the chapters I missed some how the idea of creating plots or plot hooks, sure the daydream is mentioned but in 5.5 there was the use Challenge (what) circumstances (why) etc. for creating a beginning. I came up now with using different oracles like Challenge + reason + discovery + catalyst + Stakes. Do you see any other way or did I misunderstood the part with daydreaming and first plot nodes? Thanks
I am glad you liked the upgrade! - yes, the reason the plot hook generation went away is that it might have not worked well for everyone, and instead, I worked on a full game generator in Game Unfolding Machine which does a better job in that regard. I know it sounds like a "DLC" but it is better that each product focuses on what they do best :) - if using those oracles works for you to generate game ideas, absolutely go for it too! @@dragonias8
This looks amazing, I'm definitely going to pick it up. Also, thanks for the reminder about Table Top simulator for solo.

@@jeansenvaars yes it is working well. Less combat encounter than other oracle systems.

If I buy this an a new revision comes out, do I have to buy it again?
Hi, no. Any paid version will Always get you the latest available version. I am not planning any further updates after V8 though
@@jeansenvaars thanks!
