I've been playing FarmSim19 for about 3 months. Thanks for the in-depth tutorials and the willingness to go into code and show how to change things. This is fantastic!
Brother, well, I don't how to say this exactly... I've just seen this video, and it helped me a lot, because I'm kind a mod freak :D :D :D I'm clicking download before I even see the mod , and I had more space on my HD occupied by FS19 mods then with everything else. You have just got me subscribed to your channel. Thank you million times :D
Glad it helped! I've got a number of different tutorial videos on the channel and have tried to start putting them into playlists to help people find what they are looking for. I've got a number of additional tutorial videos in the works as well so welcome to the channel!
Your mod installation video got me thinking about how I store my own mods on different drives and your thumbnails always look better than mine so you've got me trying all kinds of new things! :)
I've heard of that but haven't had a chance to look at it in detail. I always get a bit nervous installing applications from untrusted sources. If it was an open source project on GitHub I'd be more inclined to give it a go.
This should help with load times as even if a mod isn't activated in game it's still being loaded in some capacity when you launch FS19 as can be seen in the log.txt file. I'm not sure what impact if any it would have on FPS. I think generally as long as they aren't enabled for your save game it shouldn't have much of an impact on FPS.
Question for someone smarter than me I'm trying to download Deere country on my laptop it in my files but won't show in my game what am I missing or doing wrong I have a acer aspire E 15 touch if that helps
My understanding of how FS19 works is that it will load the mods from the drive that you store them on (it pulls them into memory while the game is running) so putting them onto a slower disk will likely only affect the amount of time it takes you to load the game but after that shouldn't cause any noticeable performance issues.
Great tutorial. But how do I do this as I am not a programmer at all.i dont even now how to make mods.whjch us something I would like yo learn.can we work on a few mods together?
Hard drive broke with mods now can't see gamesettings.xml to change where mods save please help, I have redownloaded and cleared game off storages, checked integrity of files etc I just don't know what I'm doing wrong. the game settings.xml template is on pc though, mods currently save on my boot SSD which I don't want any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated, if I cant fix it no more farming sim.the only file I have is gamesettings template, I've deleted and downloaded the game several times but still cant find it, I have used the search setting to check drives its just not there
@@KederkFarms game settings is showing up but not gamesettings.xml any ideas what do i do next should i just try edit where mods save in game settings through notepad
I've heard of it but never had a chance to check it out. I'm generally hesitant to install 3rd party tools from "unknown" individuals but I might have to check it out.

Hello and welcome to Kederk Farms... Today we’re going to show you how to keep your Case IH mods out of the rest of your mods :P
LOL
Dead on
Rename the folder: “trash mods” 😁
Great tutorial, Kederk. Thanks for this!

how or where do you do the auto ship or direct ship. So you can have equipment ship to farm when you buy new equipment.
Im getting the Premium Edition in the mail today! Its a day late tho and i ordered it on Black Friday
Could be a life saver...thank you!
Awesome will check that out tonight
Great video. You should look up pv tools. Similar but don’t have to go into xml to change directories. Windows app done with mouse and click.
I've heard of that but haven't had a chance to look at it in detail. I always get a bit nervous installing applications from untrusted sources. If it was an open source project on GitHub I'd be more inclined to give it a go.
You can use this free software to manage several mods folder : farmwrangler.com/modfoldermanager.html
I use PV tools. Way simpler.
this was very helpful!💯
Will doing this help game performance like FPS and load times? I don't have all mods enabled in every savegame but they are all in the same folder.

This is great information thanks!

So if I would put the files on an hdd would fs19 pull them over to the m.2 that fs19 the game is on or would f it run off of the hard disk drive?

Ok. Thank you very much for replying
Thanx for the tips.

PV Tools is way quicker for doing this job.
