This is ridiculous. I loved when the anti-piracy screens were DISTURBING and UNSETTLING, and not with cheap jumpscares, chinese/japanese font, and blood, or some sort of "cursed" characters that are supposed to scare me.
I liked these anti-piracy screens, but like most creepypastas-esque things, people try to hard to be edgy and ruin them. Most of these try to hard, You don't always need a shitty CRT filter and the meme Mario scream.
Nintendo is the definition of this comment, i feel like Sega handles this nicer because for example on of them has it like *"Remember, only Eggman pirates games!"* unlike Nintendo who kills off characters. Imagine a kid playing it because it was a birthday present that their dad got them without knowing it was pirated. Like come on Nintendo you tryna get sales or not? Because making people wet their pets ain't gonna get you any money
The first one is good! I really like it.. kinda. If we take away the "creepyiness" this would be a very good piracy tactic. They put peach in the lobby, being saved then no matter what painting you enter, you are put into bob-omb battlefield behind bars, unable to leave, unable to die, unable to get a star or to quit unless reseting the whole console or quiting out of the game. It's great!

I am going to keep doing this until I have reviewed every compilation. 1. Super Mario 64: It’s filled with basically nothing but black eye garbage. 4/10 2. Super Mario Bros: Started off good but once it got to the text that is too high quality for an 8 bit system, the 16 bit thwomp and Mario screaming, I lost interest. 4/10 3. Super Mario Odyssey: The discolouration is weird and once and while I don’t consider Damn a curse word, Bowser saying it is a bit coarse for a Nintendo game. At least it’s better than the one by C H E E Z E. 6/10 4. New Super Mario Bros U: Ending on a really high note with an amazing one. The only downside is Mario saying Piracy is no party when I think he should’ve said “Criminals don’t stop Bowser, they only aid him.” But that’s just my opinion. 9/10 Another mixed bag of a compilation. I wouldn’t call it a bad one but I wouldn’t call it good either. Also for some reason as I am reviewing this part 10 seems to be missing.

No, I don’t mean the battle being impossible, but difficult to the point where you’d have to put every skill you’ve learned up to then to the test. And since my idea for Odyssey was to have every single character, partner and villain join together, which includes Count Bleck and Dimentio, Bowser would use all the evil and power of Dimentio to face off against Mario when he interrupts him on the brink of tying the knot with Princess Peach. The battlefield would be simple enough, just like those of almost all Super Mario games. But it has a tendency to go completely under the lava, forcing you to use Cappy to stay above and avoid getting burned. That’s only part of what makes it much more difficult than the first Bowser fight, where he’s taken control of Count Bleck’s power, thinking his is able to get his job done. If I really had to talk about the anti-piracy here, it’s surprisingly one of the best that even still holds up to this day. No overuse of Mario’s screaming, corrupted graphics, screamers-nothing. It even has that iconic closing text: “There is nothing you can do…” If only those words were in a Super Mario game, or in any Mario game, for that matter!
