This is so interesting! While I don’t want to think of it as spending a quarter each time I do my makeup, I think it’s cool to think about each use as lowering my cost per use for the lifetime of the product. Like if I buy a $10 single eyeshadow and use it twice, it’s like I paid $5 per use. But if I use it a hundred times, my cost per use goes way down!
Yes, I love your approach! I don't really like seeing it as 'spending X each time you use it' either, especially since you've already spent the $. But definitely using it as a motivator to lower the cost per use is great 😊
I think one of the most expensive products is the Brow Cheat....I had it twice and I finished it once in 22 uses and the second time in 24. So if you would buy this full price it is outrageous..... I have to say ...it is a great product, I love the color taupe, its the most perfect taupe for blond-redheads.
This is fascinating! I admire your tracking. I would love to see you experiment with supposed drugstore dupes for CT products you've tried. Or perhaps TH-camrs favorites in these categories to see how they compare. Emily Noel loves that hard candy face off bronzer wand for instance.
Great video! I have cost per use in my spreadsheet for every single product, and always aim to get less than a dollar per use (hard when you buy a new single KVD shadow or PML palette)
hi i just bought the charlotte tilbury happikiss in pillow talk and im a newbie project paner so i have som questions for you if you dont mind. how many swipes did you do per use? how often did you use it? and how long/ big is the base where you dug out product? hope you are having a fantastic xmas and you are safe and well. xmas greetings from norway
Hey there! I would say about 2-3 swipes per use, I wore it 142 times, and once you go through enough of the product that you start digging down, there's about 3-4 millimeters of product in the base. Hope this helps! ❤️❤️❤️
this helps alot. easier for me to calculate how long i have before i have to go before its empty. hope it lasts until i go on vacay again, we dont have sephora here in norway only sephora sweden and they dont have ct. stay safe and well and have a great day and week. @@TooMuchTash
Such an informative video its like research which I find fascinating. I think that for me, I have the spotlight wand and the blush one and those seem to last a long time. I also have a bullet lipstick and an eyeshadow quad and I think those would be decent cost per wear given how many uses you would need to finish them. But what I don't like is how expensive CT is.
Honestly to me this brand is not worth the money theres better products out there chanel n dior have amazing makeup if i want pricier stuff thats what i get

I really love how you can tracked your uses of every makeup item.
Can you share how you track your uses of makeup so i can do for mine as well?? 😊😊
Hi there! Definitely, I use Google sheets and did a video showing how I set it up: th-cam.com/video/3pGLJojfSjY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=zQAlgpmyXpw-_6nM ❤️
It‘s so so interesting to see how many days/applys it takes to finish up a whole product! 💜
I absolutely love your cost per use videos for makeup and skincare! Would love to see more uploads of this unique concept❤
Thank you so much!! 😊
I live in South Africa - I have never tried CT but I loved this one
Thank you for watching!! 😊
I have never tried CT, but this was still so interesting!
Same here😊
Very interesting!!
I love it when you do videos like this! ❤
Thanks, Stephanie! 😊

Oooh that sounds like a really fun idea, thanks for the suggestion! 😊
@@TooMuchTash You're welcome. it would be a great way to save money too 😊

I love that idea! Especially for products that likely won't get finished all the way 😊
This is off topic, but your hair style looks great!
Thank you so much!
