My first Mustang was a 91 GT. I loved these cars. The 2 tone were my favorites. Mine was red. It had an automatic transmission. I added a shift kit and it would chirp the tires when it shifted into 2nd. I also added a pair of shorty headers and flowmaster catback exhaust. I also swapped out the stock gears for a 3.73 rear end. I'd like to get my hands on another one of these one day.
I grew up with Fox Body's and always loved them. I've owned about a dozen of them over the years and have a 93 Cobra currently. Amazing to see this one so unmolested as so many of them are modded these days. I could never leave mine alone frankly - twin turbos and stroked 302 in my Cobra along with plenty of supporting driveline, suspension and brake mods. They are a heck of a car for the money and I love the old school feel. Very cool to see this review among the newer car reviews. Would love to add a new GT350 to the stables.
This is fantastic. This was my first car, deep emerald green but mine had a chrome "5.0" on the side and a thin red pinstripe. To this day, 25 years later I still miss that car.
Quoth SubaruWRXfan, "It can be a little challenging to drive." I LOL'D at that one. YOU HAVE NO IDEA! :D Just a little personal history here. I have owned two of these cars. I owned a 1988 GT (T-Tops) 5 speed with Hurst shifter and a 1989 LX 5.0 also with 5 speed. Pro-Tip, buy the LX 5.0. It is lighter than the GT and looks stealthier other than the 5.0 callout. To say they're challenging to drive would be an understatement. When I bought the 88 GT I did not even know how to drive a stick. Imagine learning stick on a car like that! OY! With no driver aids they make the S2000 seem like a piece of cake. Remember, you've got much more weight on the front end so try pulling those acceleration runs in the rain if you REALLY want to see what a handful these cars were. In the rain they fishtail like a MOFO and god forbid you give it just a little too much gas, WATCH OUT! They were pretty much a white knuckle ride the moment things got wet out. If you can swing it, I strongly recommend you pick one of these up as a second car. They are sketchy in the rain but other than that they are a HOOT to drive!
+subaruwrxfan I'm 18 and have been daily driving a 1986 5.0 that's a manual since I had my license. My grandpa gave it to me and my dad wasn't very happy about it because he thought I would kill myself in it lol. I learned how to drive it on a field at my grandpas house and the first day I drove it on the road it was raining and fox body's love to kick the back end out especially in rain and I was scared to drive it in the rain for the longest time. But I put new shocks and struts and lowering springs and it helps a lot on backroads. The only problems I've had is the smog pump locked up on me and my ignition control module went out but other than that it has been pretty reliable and a fun car. Also my high school administrators doesn't like how loud it is and they always tried to accuse me for doing burnouts in the parking lot but it was never me. Except twice it was lol. But so far I've never even been pulled over so that's good.
Almost the same situation here. I bought a 1991 GT new and had only recently learned to drive a stick on an old Civic. I really had no business with something that powerful at the time and picked up a lot of bad manual driving habits as a result. My passengers hated riding with me because of my hard shifts. I developed a really strong left calf muscle pushing in that clutch.
I had a '91 GT with the auto trans - stock 342 gears & such. If you do get one - get the MSD Cap & Rotor - otherwise you will be changing the cap & rotor A LOT - also go with the 8mm motorsports plug wires. I put in a set of autolite platinum plugs. This car is SO easy to work on. Get the march ram air kit if you get one - and the underdrive pulleys - cheap power add-on that will gain you 25 to 35 HP. I then bumped up the throttle pos sensor voltage and put on a flowmaster exhaust. VERY FUN TO DRIVE - YOU WILL LOVE IT!
I wanted a 89 Iroc Z Black and Gold with the TPI FI 350 5SPD but I found a 90 LX 5.0 5spd for a dollar. I couldn't pass it up it drove like a beast I only lost to a 00 Camaro SS and another 5.0. I loved that damn car
I was in high school when this car came out. I remember as a kid people were accustomed to big neuterd V8s with maybe 150 hp in very heavy cars. It's funny remembering people freaking out about how much power the 5.0 had...........at 225 hp. Remember this guys and gals; for car guys who like big, reliable, fuel efficient hp THESE are the good old days!
+Bmackins94 try 3400+lbs. a completely stock get will usually scale at 3500-3600 lbs at the track. the lx could be optioned lighter, but a loaded gt is pretty heavy.
I’m kind of in shock here… I had the exact same year and color Mustang. It was called Jewel green metallic, and it was pretty rare. It first popped up in 1990 on what they called the “7-Up convertibles” which were limited production. Then it became available on the 91 and 92 models. Man I miss that car.
thank you matt for making this video available! very educational, pointing out the features, benefits, positives and drawbacks of a 90's muscle car. i especially loved seeing/hearing the acceleration parts of the video. you honestly made me feel like i was in the car. after 24 yrs i still love the 91-93 5-liter hatchback. the engine sound is distinct and indelible. respect from southern ontario, canada :D
Jeff I'm a Mustang fan but GM was getting good around then. The LS1 is a hugely successful quality engine. It first came out in the 97 C5 Corvette then into the Camaro and Firebird the year after.
+Jeff K At the time the trans am and the camaro had the ls1 and they're faster than sn95's. Lol I beat an sn95 in my 2000 BMW 540i 4 door 3800lbs and mine sounds better too
That's sound brings me back to when I had mine. I really want another one. I love how the shifter touches your right knee in first gear. There just isn't anything that compares to how fun those cars are. The rawness in the torque of the motor make you feel like you're going so much faster than you really are.
I had the '89. Like you, I definitely would like to get my hands on another one! Has to be a manual, though. Mine got pretty decent mpg also. 23-25 highway.
Kept mine pretty stock. Modified intake and exhaust plus a Ford high performance clutch. Had to let it go for a song (divorce). The guy got it for a steal !
Brings back fond memories of when I was in high school during the early 90s. When you're driving one of these, the cheap looking interior doesn't matter. It's 100% pure power and fun to take these on an open road.
Hey man just wanted to say I've been a fan of your channel for a while! Your videos and reviews are always top notch. Awesome job! Always looking forward to your videos each week!
A 1988 notchback 5.0 was my first new car. I loved it and still miss her. The Chicago winters were brutal with the Goodyear Gatorbacks. Due to slippage in the snow, the car would come to a complete halt if I tried to climb over a hill the height of a thimble. I would simply run red lights to keep the momentum going. It was a different car with Pirelli all -season tires. That was a great car, was pretty much bullet proof as far as dependability, and it was quick. It never struck me as a difficult car to drive. The shifter was notchy but I liked it. It would pull until I would bury the tach, and she would start to flutter and lose power.
I had an '87 GT, wine red, with headers and a Saleen suspension. The interior was exactly the same (except no airbag). I had LX tail lights, which made it smoother looking. It was the best driving car I ever had.
I have a special place in my heart for these. Remember when my aunt bought one brand new convertible. My best friend in high school had one so we had some good times. Best sounding car for the money. They are a handful to drive and they make you feel fast with the flat torque and sound but are not fast and handle like a tank. My CRX with a stock B16 swap would run neck to neck with my buddies 5.0 but when it comes to corners I would leave him. Still love the foxbody GT's!
The cubby under the head unit was stock unless you got the nicer(?) stereo that had an equalizer there. The cubby was pretty much useless because anything you put in there goes flying out if you accelerate quickly.
Dude, I absolutely love your review, when I was 17, I had an 87 foxbody 5.0, I adored that car and I was adored for it. So nice to hear such a positive and super fun review of one of my most beloved cars! You had the opportunity to enjoy this vehicle in the twilight of its existence. Well done, and thank you, so fun to watch. Keep it up!
I had a 1989 Mustang GT that I bought new, and the first thing I did to it was to get an alarm and then I got a rear disc brake kit from Ford Motorsport. It was a fun car to drive.
I bought an 87 in January of 1987. I was at the dealership looking at an 86 GT, when suddenly the mac haul delivery truck pulled up, and started unloading new 87's off, which I didn't reckonize at first, because of the front euro type headlights. I ask the salesman, is that a Mustang? The first one he pulled off was a Scarlet red LX 5.0, 5 speed, which I still own today, and yes they had 225 horses, and 305 pounds of torque, which today is nothing, but after enduring a decade with slow factory cars, including the Corvettes, this was like Christmas for us car lovers. Never forget the smile it put on my face when I left the dealer, especially paying only $9500, after trading in my tired 81 z/28, and Ford having a 2 thousand dollar rebate, that weekend only. Wow, what a great memory.
Subarurxfan, you have a real knack for reviewing cars. I stumbled upon 2 of your videos today, GT350 and this 92 GT. You have a contagious grin, really puts me into the drivers seat. I've owned 10+ mustangs and have grown out of them, but both your reviews really reminded me of my roots and why I fell in love with cars. Keep it up, your a class act on youtube.
IIRC, my '87 GT's (purchased brand new) stock clutch pedal sat out about 2" farther out than the brake and gas pedal. So, it may have grabbed late, but it felt normal to me. Again, it wasn't stiff by any means.
I dunno, my '92 GT I bought new sure built up my left leg muscles.... But then I was brought up without the 'luxury' of an automatic tranny. Still, that GT is unlike anything I've ever driven with a clutch from 2 wheels up to 18....
Don't care what kind of cars you love the most, a fox will impress any car enthusiast. They aren't the fastest car on todays street, but give them a drive and just like this guy, they will put a smile on your face.
In ‘89 I bought my first new car, a ‘90 Mustang GT in cabernet red w/automatic. Six months later I traded it in for a white ‘90 LX 5.0L sedan notchback. Seriously fun cars. Still love the looks and the Capri 5.0L.
90 they changed the steering wheel and added the dumb pockets on the door handles. Also changed the A/C knobs. 89 was better in my opinion. There was something else they changed in the airflow sensor or air intake..... i dont remember
rdiaz78065 Drive trains remained the same, except Mass Air was added in '89 ('88 for California cars) and the piston change in '93. Aside for slight cosmetic changes like you stated, same cars.
Hey man been watching your videos for a while, love them but I just wanted to say that my 02 cobra was hit yesterday and totaled. I'm really sad because it was my baby. I know you just went through it with your mustang. If you have any advice id appreciate a reply back
Wow sorry to hear that, hope you're okay. As long as you have your health that's the important thing. If they're totaling it just make sure you get a fair amount for the car and that they don't lowball you on their settlement offer. Good luck and I hope you can find something else you like soon!
+subaruwrxfan Thanks for the reply man! I appreciate your advice. It always sucks losing a part of the family but I'm gonna do my best to replace it, keep up the awesome videos!
By far my favorite year and color combination. For me, it's just the memories and styling with sound. If I want to go fast and go balls out I have a BMW I can do that with.
Cool review! Yeah affordable. I remember looking at getting a foxbody 10 years ago. Most were rusted out and in bad shape. Prices have skyrocketed on ones in this condition. I wouldn't say affordable.
Wheeler Dealers did a FoxBody recently - they were in California and picked one up with little body issues for around $2500 - I agree though that in most parts of the US they've been ragged out and rusted if they haven't they've been turned into drag racers with an LS motor and no interior left. Not "classic" enough for the after market really to pay much attention which means parts prices are nuts.
+Dylan Dillon Love how many people make themselves look stupid on the internet. if you tried to search for proof on how many Fox body Mustangs worth trade it in in that program you wouldn't be to find it. And you know nothing about Mustangs, racing, drag racing, performance cars, nothing. You have no idea how popular these cars were, and still are, especially in the world of street car drag racing. Fox body Mustangs have always been insanely popular that's why they have the biggest automotive aftermarket of any car ever made. In good condition these cars are worth every penny their owners are asking for. I paid $13k for my '93 GT in 2003, and when I sold it in 2008 I made $5,000 over what I originally paid for it because it was in mint condition with low miles, and I took care of it.
Nice review. I had a 91 Mustang LX 5.0 in the same green. It's funny for me to hear how tough the clutch is and the comparison to newer cars. Back when these were new, they were the best bang for the buck. I paid $13,600 for mine. I drove it as a daily driver and across country on long road trips. I had 5.0 V8 5 spd and 3.08 gears. I would drive it to the track with the A/C on, run 15 second quarter miles all day and drive it home. On the highway I'd get 25 MPG. I miss that car! Thanks for the review.
Hey Matt! Really enjoyed watching you drive this 5.0. Brought back so many memories of my teenage years. My first car was an 89 GT. Then I traded it for a 92 LX 5.0 hatch. Then a 95 gt. Love the torque on these cars. There a blast to drive! I had a 98 cobra too. Now I drive a Toyota Matrix, lol. Super reliable but boring. Can't wait to sell it to get another mustang. Maybe an 04 Mach 1. Sorry for the long rant. I don't talk much, but when it comes to stangs, I can go all day, ha!

+yaseenshuja1 There's no rule that says you have to round things to the nearest 100, which is why they weren't measuring displacement in CC, they were measuring it in litres, and 4.942L rounds to 5L.
a 1989 LX 5.0 fastback 5 speed is what I learned to drive on. It's what I learned how to drive a standard on. and you are absolutely right about that clutch. Amazing car
I hate the Foxbody and always will. It looks like an economy car. The sound that comes out of it is unnatural. I don't care how popular they're getting, I think they're awful.
Yes, but being small and lightweight has big advantages for a sports car. Big and blocky might look macho, but something sports car sized like a porsche will always handle better. By the way the original concept of the mustang was to basically drop a strong engine in an economy car.
I remember the first time I drove in a Fox 🦊 body Mustang I think it was a 1990 in manual. Wow! That first gear ⚙️ pull was amazing for the 90’s. My very first car was a 1980 Ford Mustang with a 4 cylinder painted orange with lots of Bon-do

@@timzzz9963 usually the idle issues occur on cold start, most of the the time the ECT is to blame, as far as vacuum issues alot of people screw up on routing the vacuum lines to their proper locations, I prefer the SD 5.0s instead of MAF for a daily driven stock motor....
All of these haters on here hating on the foxbody mustang even tho it was the longest body style of a car ever...... because it's one of the best cars ever made.
kodie belcher gives the countach and c4 a run for their money, but the jeep xj definitely has it beat.
Volvo 240 is up there too.
Panther platform outlived it
How many people are going to reference Menace ll Society?
I was actually gonna comment that it needed gold Daytons lol
I was too and I shook my head when I saw that it was a hardtop smh. I was even quoting thes and shit...."I had a dope ride....and I was sitting on some bullshit...I needed some rims bad and I sure in hell wasn't going to pay for em." Probably my favorite scene in the whole movie
The wheels on cains 5.0 weren't actually daytons
I was thinking of the Vanilla Ice music video!
@@cyco781loco1 no the ones he jacked was tho
Every fox owner knows the cup holders are between the seats, and the console ;)
Tyler45acp my drinks go in between the ebrake and seat cushion

I’m so sorry for you. I will pray for you on Sunday.
This is fantastic. This was my first car, deep emerald green but mine had a chrome "5.0" on the side and a thin red pinstripe. To this day, 25 years later I still miss that car.
The most 90's a car can get !
no this was pretty much the same car from the 80s , designed in the late 70s
C7 corvette is more 90s than this
It's almost identical to my old '87 GT. Same engine and horsepower as well.
Looks more 80s then anything lol
+1flynlow - I agree its more 80's than 90's
Quoth SubaruWRXfan, "It can be a little challenging to drive." I LOL'D at that one. YOU HAVE NO IDEA! :D
Just a little personal history here.
Haha cool to hear your experience. Personally if I wanted a Mustang that was a handful I'd just get one from the 60s haha.
Lol I bet you had the biggest grin across you face too.
Devin Waddell Lol nice man! That's awesome.
I'm a Chevy guy at heart but damn I want one
Why be a Chevy guy or a Ford guy? Even if you love a lot of Chevys, no reason you can't buy a Ford if one catches your eye.
I’m a big ford guy I rock a 85 gt vert but I really want to own an I rock
get you one brother , youll have lots of fun. hurry tho because theyre going up in price.
50 gang! lightest car ive ever driven and if you have a good heart in her, shes quicker than hell
I miss both my 88 and 90 GTs, they were so much fun to drive, the flow master sound from these pushrod 302 s can’t be beat!
Haha I agree. I'm already nostalgic about the present, if that makes any sense lol. Enjoying it while it lasts!
the fox body was about 3000 pounds
+Bmackins94 try 3400+lbs. a completely stock get will usually scale at 3500-3600 lbs at the track. the lx could be optioned lighter, but a loaded gt is pretty heavy.
nothing like a pushrod 5.oh
lilsammywasapunkrock complete bs. Do some research
Such a beautiful car,i love this foxbody mustangs they are awsome.
Man i love fox mustangs. Its becoming a collectors car. Wish i had one in that green color
This nigga just told us to bulk up
LMAO
this nigga just said nigga and his name is hunter

Lmaooo...Hunter, give me your ring.
I’ve owned my 93 LX for 21 years now and I still love and enjoy it. Good review I enjoy your channel. Keep up the good work.
thank you matt for making this video available! very educational, pointing out the features, benefits, positives and drawbacks of a 90's muscle car. i especially loved seeing/hearing the acceleration parts of the video. you honestly made me feel like i was in the car.
after 24 yrs i still love the 91-93 5-liter hatchback. the engine sound is distinct and indelible.
respect from southern ontario, canada :D
This is why this is one of my dream cars. Just such an amazing sounding v8. Beautiful body design. Stupid simple interior. I love it so much
the mustangs around this time are one of the best sounding cars there is
JeremyJam
Stangs, we call them stangs. And cheap, ugly and badly made.
Like the comment if you own a Fox, like me!
1990 yellow gt
1989 Maroon Gt
1991 LX 5.0 5 speed in red original paint and interior except carpet and Florida gauges
1988 white gt
It would be awesome if you could find a 1998-2002 Trans Am Ws6 to review
F the transam, the mustang was cool the GM at the time was turd
+Jeff K you don't even know
A Camaro SS from that time period is great too. My dad had a 98 SS I learned to drive on that thing it was so awesome.
+Conrad Anderson I had an 86 t-top...I just had flowmasters and 3.55 gears. That car was so very reliable too!
Kept mine pretty stock. Modified intake and exhaust plus a Ford high performance clutch. Had to let it go for a song (divorce). The guy got it for a steal !
Wow Matt I see you slipping in those sponsors lowkey 7:39
Brings back fond memories of when I was in high school during the early 90s. When you're driving one of these, the cheap looking interior doesn't matter. It's 100% pure power and fun to take these on an open road.
Hey man just wanted to say I've been a fan of your channel for a while! Your videos and reviews are always top notch. Awesome job! Always looking forward to your videos each week!
Thanks man!
Holy shmokes, that car looks more like the 90s than anything I've ever seen... o.O
Early early 90s and the interior like late 80s
That's great considering it was designed and first produced in the eighties!
I had an '87 GT, wine red, with headers and a Saleen suspension. The interior was exactly the same (except no airbag). I had LX tail lights, which made it smoother looking. It was the best driving car I ever had.
Its really more of a 80s car
80s u fool
I have a special place in my heart for these. Remember when my aunt bought one brand new convertible. My best friend in high school had one so we had some good times. Best sounding car for the money. They are a handful to drive and they make you feel fast with the flat torque and sound but are not fast and handle like a tank. My CRX with a stock B16 swap would run neck to neck with my buddies 5.0 but when it comes to corners I would leave him. Still love the foxbody GT's!
The cubby under the head unit was stock unless you got the nicer(?) stereo that had an equalizer there. The cubby was pretty much useless because anything you put in there goes flying out if you accelerate quickly.
dbateman lmao yup , always my lighter, just happend now
Dude, I absolutely love your review, when I was 17, I had an 87 foxbody 5.0, I adored that car and I was adored for it. So nice to hear such a positive and super fun review of one of my most beloved cars! You had the opportunity to enjoy this vehicle in the twilight of its existence. Well done, and thank you, so fun to watch. Keep it up!
This is the review I thought you'd never do. thanks for finally doing it?
I had a 1989 Mustang GT that I bought new, and the first thing I did to it was to get an alarm and then I got a rear disc brake kit from Ford Motorsport. It was a fun car to drive.
Rolling up to the BBQ on some Daytons... The only way to roll fooo...
Marc Anthony they was actually 80 spoke McLean wire wheels not daytons
Brings back memories! I had the same '92 back in the day. Loved it!
What's up you beautiful people!
Anyone who reads this I hope you have a wonderful day. :)
+TUBULR you to brother!!!
Trevor Crawford no problem bro have a kickass day :)
Thank You👍
I'll try...but I work outside and its really hot in Florida.
Hellcat_ 15 No Problem hellcat :)
Probably one of the most popular drag cars still today. Own one myself and love every chance I get behind the wheel of it.
THIS CAR HAS SO MUCH CHARISMA
I prefer the notch back, but this hatch is clean!
finally you review one of my fav cars of all time!.
Wow, what a great memory.
ive wanted one of these for over 10 years, as soon as im done with college.
DAMN! I never thought this fool would review a foxbody mustang LOL so dope!
Love that you're having so much fun driving it. I love my foxbody!
A properly working, stock clutch wouldn't be heavy or grab so far out.
yeah, I was thinking the same thing. That clutch is probably end of life.
I dont think thats a stock clutch cause my centerforce grabbed high and was very heavy as well
A clutch adjusted that high makes for easier powershifting. No diaphragm press plate is 'heavy'.
They aren't the fastest car on todays street, but give them a drive and just like this guy, they will put a smile on your face.
my first experience in a "fast car" was in a green two tone GT just like this one
0:30 car looks like she's smiling.
In ‘89 I bought my first new car, a ‘90 Mustang GT in cabernet red w/automatic. Six months later I traded it in for a white ‘90 LX 5.0L sedan notchback. Seriously fun cars. Still love the looks and the Capri 5.0L.
the 89 was the best built Mustang
'89 through '92 were the exact same cars... the only difference in the '93 was hypereutectic pistons were used instead of forged.
1990-1993 obviously had different seats and steering wheel
+TheNova64000 obvious? alot of people don't know that douche
Hahaha his face when he stepped on it... Priceless... There's always that satisfaction when you press on the accelerator man
Very nice review haha
02 cobra? there was only like 100 of those shipped to Australia
+Jimmy West yup all rhd
+Joseph Pllumaj that's cool af bro!
They're affordable in California
+scott warmbier - LS motor, thats sacrilege
Jeff K- yes I agree but it's done all the time under the auspices of easy and cheap power....
One of the best sounding cars of all time. You immediately knew what it was the second you heard it.
besides the hacked up rear bumper that's a nice car!
Also if he replaced the center marker lights with new clear ones it will make the car look a lot better.
Thanks for the review.
i love these so much. great review.
Very clean GT, love the color combo. Not crazy about the exhaust cutouts, but a minor gripe.
What is wrong with this guy? He keeps saying "1992" like it was 100 years ago.
Noelle L he was probably born after that loo
I don't talk much, but when it comes to stangs, I can go all day, ha!
did anyone else think it was a subaru outback from the thumbnail at first? lol
I thought I was alone haha
i thought it was a Forrester tbh lol
I had a 5.0 back in '89. This vid made me miss mine. I dug up some old vid and posted it on my TH-cam channel. A Ferrari F40 happened to drop by at the same time I was filming my car :-)
great video! i love fox mustangs! =)
I remember the first time I drove a foxbody. heaviest clutch I had experienced up until that point.
stick,cheap,v8 and burnouts cant go wrong
Love the new introduction.... very cool...and I'm sure you don't remember but I was the guy that bought a new to me Corvette 95 6sp zf that blew up after only 40 mile and I bought it from a trusted Dr..with 42 clicks on the clock...it hurt my soul when that happened I drool'd over that car for a year... always wanted one...I found a guy who does mostly vettes and performance cars.... create new stingray Lt1 complete rebuilt beefy zf trans, new drive shaft, stage 3 clutch, worked over rear end with 3:73, total suspension and 2016 S-ray brakes S-ray steering rack, and super heavy duty all new cooling system(woot) 19 in wheels 295 up front 20 in and 315 in the back and full Corsa exhaust it's being built as I type, it's North of 22 k before dyno tune and I know people will call me stupid not get why I would put out so much money for a C-4.. bottom line I'm a passionate enthusiast and I love my my VETTE and it will be a torch red fire breathing dragon...I'm so happy... great review as always best on you tube
That mustang sounds good wowwwww
One of my favorite style of mustangs. For 225 horse, they run pretty darn good
#Goals have 1k saved up so far
Big$MoneyBoss probably the best investment you can make get an lx 5.0 hatch mine makes me smile every day
My goal now too got 1300$ plus my Nissan Altima I’ll sale for 1000$
Yes! So great that you're reviewing an older car again. reviews going great so far :)
first
Thanks for your help man! It was great to meet up again!
Was that your beauty in the background? lol
+Darkhazard yeah man
Nice to see someone taking pride in keeping their car clean and tidy.
its actually a 4.9 gt but whatever ha. they just put 5.0 for advertising but again whatever haha
Well, the "302" Windsor was 4,942cc, but manufacturers like to round things upwards.
42 doesn't round up to 100, it rounds down
+yaseenshuja1 There's no rule that says you have to round things to the nearest 100, which is why they weren't measuring displacement in CC, they were measuring it in litres, and 4.942L rounds to 5L.
***** Exactly, he's not wrong about 42 rounding down, but its called the "5.0L", not a "5,000cc", and 4.9L rounds up to 5.0L.
+Chris C so is my C63 Amg that has 6.3 badges all over a 6.3 liter when it displaces only 6,208 cubic centimeters?
a 1989 LX 5.0 fastback 5 speed is what I learned to drive on. It's what I learned how to drive a standard on. and you are absolutely right about that clutch.
Amazing car
Sounds better than the new GT 5.0
I saw the title and instantly thought it was a video from Regular Car Reviews, Needless to say I'm still just as excited to be here :)
I hate the Foxbody and always will. It looks like an economy car. The sound that comes out of it is unnatural. I don't care how popular they're getting, I think they're awful.
agreed, it's ugly imo
i also agree
Yes, but being small and lightweight has big advantages for a sports car. Big and blocky might look macho, but something sports car sized like a porsche will always handle better. By the way the original concept of the mustang was to basically drop a strong engine in an economy car.
+mrsilent3051 I said unnatural because of the way the car looks.
+Jeff K they didn't go with that though, did they? The first Mustang was muscular, had the looks to match the sound. The Foxbody however...
I remember the first time I drove in a Fox 🦊 body Mustang I think it was a 1990 in manual. Wow! That first gear ⚙️ pull was amazing for the 90’s. My very first car was a 1980 Ford Mustang with a 4 cylinder painted orange with lots of Bon-do
Man these Foxbodys are so overrated
Just like the 80's?
what do you mean overrated? they were and still are a great affordable cars when it comes to customizing as well. the notchbacks dont take much to run 12s with boltons
bruh u stupid?
You're mom was overrated in the 80's when she had you
not the soundtrack. it sounds great
This is my favorite Mustang GT, love the looks and the engine!
ugliest mustang ever...
I think the 73-78 Mustang and the SN95 is uglier. :)
+Col. Angus the 70s still look ok
hey meng your opinion means nothing trust me
+Shawn West hey the mustang is my favorite, just don't know where ford went with this one.
+Shawn West eh still, this is my least favorite model
right out of High School in 92 and these ruled the roads.. straight line killers!!! wanted one soo bad
Lmao, that's one ugly ass mustang
I do prefer the 80's foxbodies
better loooking than all the models after it. only the early 2000s cobra R and terminators look better
+Jeff K thats funny I like the 89 and 90s the best
Your dad shoulda pulled put
lkporter1989 lmfao...savage
I own two foxes a 92' coupe and an 86' hatchback, love both of them. Couldn't be happier with my choice in projects
