Stevey wevey dude... know the difference. You can usually tell when someone is taking steroids and when they’re not. This guys been training upwards of 10+ years. He just has good genetics and has put in the time and work. If you wanna see someone that’s on steroids go look at Simeon Panda. It’s pretty obvious Mike isn’t. So stop being envious and go to the gym if you wanna look at him. I can’t stand people that see an amazing physique and immediately point steroids. Grow up
dreamine06 but unless he’s sitting outside in the sun for hours every single day, then he can’t maintain a tan like that. That’s why everyone says he does sunbeds in between to top it up
vultur311 YESSSS being confident in your own sexuality is actually kind of rlly important and people who are like oh that’s gay just aren’t comfy in their own. Like I can acknowledge a girl is HELLA hot but that doesn’t make me lesbian.
The editing on this video is *Off the charts*. Mike, you've been inspiring me since you had 50k subscribers. You put me in the mindset I have now, You're the reason I learned professions which would get me online money. Thanks a lot, to all of you who bring this channel to reality. _Thank you_
A tell tale sign I always spot in myself when overtraining is I'll feel 'jittery' as in my nerves feel fried, even more obvious when trying to sleep and cant and body is just feeling restless, finding it randomly difficult to sleep is usually a early warning sign for me
I’ve followed your instructions for 20 months solid. One rest day per week or every 3/4 days. Big middle finger up to the mugs who try to put you down mentioning peds, if you eat properly, strict discipline in form, train hard, practically dedicate your life to it then you can transform your body massively. He’s done this all his life and fair play to the Geezer, that’s some commitment 🙌👏
Love him, tell me any other bodybuilder on earth that does it like Thurston. Fully natural, just good clean food, hard training and the right diet, shows you what can be achieved through a little bit of discipline guys, keep it up Mike, we are all rooting for you
I’m not easy to please but all these Ibiza videos always are a pleasure to watch. You look happy and easy going there. I think it’s the Latin vibe compared to the upright Dubai one. Keep it up.
Got to give props that you never use the belt, to cover your lower back. Wish i could have that kind of lower back that i never pick any injuries and just do hard exercises. Two heart attacks, a stroke and then just recently suffered slip disc but still this fire in me to watch fitness and body building videos don't go away.
So true, I have a lot of friends that hate resting and I almost think its because they don't train hard enough. Like he mentioned in the video Im sooo dead by the time my rest day rolls around I cant wait to just chill out
First three back at the gym.....even my ears hurt!!! Was quite worried about the pain, so thanks for putting my mind at rest. I have been smashing the painkillers ......is that bad😬
Mike please cover abs also, want to learn oblique training, especially the serratus anterior. Also if you can show the variations of woodchopper exercise for training obliques. Keep musculating!😎😎😎
Sukhmander Singh...he'll be the first to tell you that it's all about bodyfat%, you can train abs etc all you like but unless you're sub 10% it's a waste of time...
@@barrywilliams4866 Thank you Barry, I do have a 4 pack and due to side effects of pandemic lockdown, I have gained a lot of fat, so very keenly looking forward to retraining my abdomen. I am really keen to work on serratus anterior muscle, till date I have never worked out on it.
@@Miiike I normally only have one, and I do a three day split so today biceps back abs, tomorrow legs then chest triceps. But like Mike I like to do low intensity cardio basically every day, so yesterday I did a hike up to victoria peak overseeing the Hong Kong skyline, actually uploaded a video on my channel just last night. I try to walk 15-20k steps a day. ☀️🌃💪👍
Tips to see if you have overtrained: If your sleep quality is really bad and you wake up a lot, or feel like you have had no sleep during the night, and you're in a calorie surplus, you are pushing you systems to hard and should take a rest day. if you feel like you're jittery as if you have consumed a lot of coffee when you haven't, your body is in a very stressed state, and you should take a rest day.
I just train every other day currently, as training 27 working sets to failure each session with intensity techniques on a push pull legs ( hitting legs only once a week though ). Its working well for now but certainly feel in need of that rest day in between sessions. also means each session im raring to go and hit the session hard
i guess it also helps if you like what you're doing and what you're eating i mean i dont mind vegetables but id feel like if i ate veggies all day everyday id feel craving for a burger or soemthing idk but nonethe less ill start eating better myself i need to.
Mike thank you for all of your advice, and for being fit, real and laid back. And giving us ladies the pleasure of all of your hard work. I lost weight since I started eating healthier, but now I have to start lifting because of my age. Women loose muscle and I'm skinny mushy, I want to have female muscles like you 👍🙏
if you're basically doing nothing (teens) 6 consecutive days is doable. and ya, mike's split doesn't seem optimal for people that haven't reached at least their half potential genetic limit. if I trained my arms once a week I would be depressed
Any advice for someone struggling with overtraining syndrome? I have found it SO hard to take rest days because like you said, that feeling of accomplishment and just the pure endrophin addiction, just seem to make it too hard. I've been battling for several years and lost a lot of muscle and have also developed some kindey and liver issues from the muscle breakdown. I am a personal trainer myself and doing my masters in exercise physiology so I know what to do but I just can't seem to break the cycle. When I do take a 'rest day' I usually do HIIT otherwise I feel so flat and almost 'sick' from adrenaline withdrawals. I know it's probably sympathetic overtraining. I also tend to not allow myself to eat much on rest days because I just feel too guilty and in turn I end up losing more weight, so rest days seem like they are just a recipe for failure because even if my intentions to take a rest are good, I always seem to fail either by overdoing the HIIT anyway because I am feeling so flat or by not eating enough and feeling quite flat the next day and losing more weight in the long term. Any advice for you manage your rest days or advice for me specifically?

Mike the type of guy to get a tan even in the winter
I’m with the great Dr Greg on this one, he’s GOT TO BE topping up on a sunbed to look THAT suntanned year round
Jonathan to be fair look at when he first moved to Dubai he wasn’t tanned at all from the winter in London but I’d say he tops up on the tan bed
He choose the life to allow him to get tan even in winter.
