Marine Life of Jardines de la Reina , Cuba - 2023 - Part I

Part I of a two part presentation of the marine life of the Jardines de la Reina National Park marine ecosystem located in an archipelago some 50 miles south of the south central Cuban coast. Species seen include a variety of Angelfishes, Butterflyfishes, Parrotfishes, Triggerfishes, Sharks, and other fish species. Invertebrate species, including the Corals themselves, are presented as well. The lives of some of the fish and invertebrate species seen are considered, often with respect to the overall characteristics of this marine biome, which is the most pristine Caribbean coral reef to still exist.
