This is lovely, Sharon. You probably know about the old custom in Britain called, 'Telling the Bees.' Or maybe Big Brit knows. People would always tell their bees if there was a birth, marriage or death in the family. It was considered to be very bad luck if you didn't tell them and the bees would leave the hive.
