04:48 *Actually, the answer could be either 4 or 5 pages,* because we can't know if the book page started with page 1 on the right or left side. If we consider a page without its number assigned, then the answer will be always be 3. Because if a book 1st page on the right starts with 1, meaning 2 is on the opposite face of the same page, then each odd number will be always on the right and all even numbers will appear on the left. Viseversa if page 1 starts on the left, then 2 will be on the right, meaning 2 and 3 will be part of the same page and even numbers will all be on the right and odd numbers on the left. Meaning 7-8 same page = 7 must be on the right and 8 on the left after turning that same page. 100 will be on the left, 101 on the right, 222 on the left, 223 on the right. Total of 5 pages. While if 7 on the left page and 8 on the right page = then 100 will be in the right page, 101 in the left page on the same page after you turned it (meaning both count as 1 page), same thing for 222 being on the right and 223 on the left page on the same page again (count as 1 again). Total of 4 pages. You can try it yourself by picking any 2 books, one with odd numbers on the left and the other with right numbers on the left. If you would tear those pages, you will see they will never be 3, unless somehow the book decided to put empty unnumbered pages in between or added special pages like 90.5" (what kind of crazy book would do it tho). The answer 6 was a trick for people who thought it was needed to just count them (falling for it). Answer 3 is for people who thought they discovered the trick (still fell for it, trick inside a trick: trick-ception). Answer 7 is for people who either fast read "7 pages" and instantly thought it was the classic grammatical trick. There's no other logical reason someone would pick 7. Answer 5 is for people who took a book to have by default page 1 on the right (so odd numbers has even numbers behind, 1 + 2 + 2) Answer 4 is for people who realized it could also be applied the same reasoning of answer 5 if somehow the book had page 1 on the left (so odd numbers on the left, even numbers on the right, 2 + 1 + 1). If they did then they know answer can't be just 4 but either 4 and 5, or 5 in standard books.
@@npcwithsidequest It can also be 4 if there's an empty page, a "0" page, like the title of the book. But anywas, I watched other correlated videos of this channel and they are even more lame and lazy. It's like the person just takes some random optical illusions and quiz-tricks he finds on Instagram and doesn't even bother to put the effort to understand it (nor confirm it). Some tricks are overly repetitive, some other are almost dumb but he makes it appear as "shockingly amazing" and people too lazy to think fall for it and are amazed and impressed (like the guessing your name, it's almost an insult to anyone capable of counting up to 5)
The part where he "finds" your name is just basic math if you have A=1 1x2= 2 2+3=5 5×5=25 25-6=19 remove the nine and you get one and you can do that for every letter so it's not that crazy it's basically going "add one to your number then subtract one from your number"
All those number trucks are the same., they’ll end up like that no matter number you start with. what But it actually didn’t work for me. N is in my name which was the number 14. After doing the math, it comes out to 37. No nine.
4:30 there are actually 5 pages missing. books always start with page 1 on the right. that means page 1 is 1 and 2, 3 and 4, 5 and 6, 7 and 8, etc. so when you rip out page 7 you are ripping out page 8 as well. when you rip out pages 100 and 101, then you are ripping out 99, 100, 101 and 102, because 100 and 101 are separate pages, and the same is for 222 and 223. i cant be the only one who saw this right
@@harrypotterfan197 Nah, you can go pick up any book and check it yourself, the answer will always either be 5 or 4. Depending on whether your book has page number-one on the right (5) or left (4). This is because not all adjacent numbers are on the same physical page. Thank about it, if page 9 and 10 are on the same physical page, then clearly 10 and 11 cannot be. The difference is whether the pair of numbers starts or ends with an odd number. I will point out to the first comment that not /all/ books always have page 1 on the right. Some books are weird. So the question is actually inconclusive / poorly worded. A really cool version of the question would have been "torn out pages 9, 10, 100, 101, 200 and 220". The answer would /always/ be 5. Since 9 and 10 are always opposite of 100 and 101. One of the pairs will share a physical page, the other won't, so that'd make 3, and the last two numbers cannot, so it'd total 5. Of course, all of this goes out the window if your book skips page numbers in the middle of it for some reason, lol.
First letter of my name is represented by x Double it(2x) Add 3(2x+3) Multiply by 5(5(2x+3)=10x+15) Subtract 6(10x+15-6=10x+9) From now, my number is 10x+9, or x9 for any digit x. We need to ignore the 9 at the right, so we have x. Since the values at the end are the same as the beginning values, we’re always getting the same letters.
Yeah. May as well say "pick a number and throw it away. Then take 8 and halve it. Did you get 4? Ooooh, magic!" P.S. Who's getting 7 or 3.5??.. x*2 = 2x, +8 = 2x+8, /2 = x+4, -x = 4. Were you the kids in the back of the classroom, sniffing glue?
5:16 After trying this with more than one number, I've realized that you'll be left with four no matter what number you choose. Before I edited this comment, it originally had said that I was so surprised and shocked by this.
My go: I skipped over the second 'you' the first time, but then corrected myself. The three first words i saw were genuine, passionate, and spoken. I was tricked by the zig zag circle thing. I knew where the "2 dots in a line" thing was going because I've seen it so many times before. I was tricked by the purple-yellow square thing. I found the "HIDE AND SEEK" message. I could not solve the colorful circles thing. I do not see the second image of Marilyn Monroe. I was thinking of Broccoli. I saw the speed change. I heard the kid say "Don't Nap." I saw the other man in the picture with the girl. The rainbow Mario trick got me. I guessed A). 6 for the book question. AAH I WAS LEFT WITH 4 HOOOW The difference between the two emojis is the line on the tounge is missing one the second picture. I slightly hear a boom sound with the jump rope power lines. I honestly thought there picture of the cake with a spice out of it looked like the parting of the Red Sea. And finally, the trick where your name is actually guessed. I just ended up with the numbers I started with, so this was completly useless. He didn't even say my name like the title says. You wasted my time.
The 3 words I saw was naive, talented and sweet Then I went back and saw charismatic, impatient, happy, peaceful, lazy, lovely, witty, dramatic, loyal, thoughtful and many more
1:50: Hide and Seek 2:58: Zucchini (Courgette) 3:37: Donut 5:27: Left Tongue has line, Right does not. 6:20: Cake in the ocean lol 8:00: My name has non-english characters lol
The challenge from 0:12 is simple, since the humans are given enough time to find out their errors, and because of the text being big enough for us to notice the errors. This trick is actually not a trick, but just a failed experiment on something that contains a lot more science than what i just said. The challenge in 1:42 is also easily explainable, since the circles are slightly smaller and separated from the rest of circles, it will be seen easily.
0:14 I bet you you read this wrong 0:30 both 0:39 Naive charismatic and talented 0:59 looks like a stop motion 1:10 this is about how you put it and the order when they move 1:39 No comment 1:52 Saw it right when u said tbh
0:43 the first words I was were “cause”, “pet”, & “lethargic”. What? Hide and seek. Why would anyone think the rainbow circles are changing size? The colors tricking ya brain. Potato. I don’t like carrots. I think the speed of the hallway in the actual video is changing, not your hands affecting your brain. Dona No, my final number was 3. 7, 14, 22, 11, and finally 3. One emoji has a line on its tounge. I didn’t hear a boom, just the music and the voice in the video. Even dropped the sound, nothing. Cake? The guessing your name thing literally gives you the exact same number you started with. Every single time. It’s not that smart, it’s just a play with numbers. You didn’t guess anything. I’m calling cliché clickbait.
Yeah basically everything in the video is either extremely simple to explain or just stupid, like the 3 words and carrot one. I thought the carrot one was just kinda funny, because you could do literally anything then say “think of a vegetable” and most people would think of a carrot.
4:54 But if two consecutive page numbers in which the smaller one is odd and the larger one is even share the same page, wouldn't that mean that two consecutive page numbers in which the smaller one is even and the larger one is odd don't share the same page? And vice-versa?
The equation in the name one simplifies out to 10x+9, but when he says "ignore the nine" he's essentially telling you to subtract 9 and divide by ten, which will just leave you with x. It's not magic, it's just deceptive wordplay.
I thought the book had 5 pages torn out because the second two pairs start with an even number??? Page 7 and 8 are the same page since it starts as an odd number. 100-101 and 222-223 start even, so I assumed that They simply didn't tell you that pages 99, 102, 221, and 224 were also torn out. Also there were no mentions of page breaks in the book, meaning that considering that would be extraneous information. All in all, the question is missing some details. If it were rewerded to start the second two pairs with an odd number, we would have avoided needless confusion.
I said nacho is that do not do not do not do not do not do not no not do not do not do not do not do not that not do not do not do no and at the end it said flu not
If it’s not moving if You place your finger on one of those man’s they ain’t moving even if you put on that little mushroom thing go to book it ain’t moving
It didn't work for me, I thought of cucumber. I'm guessing that since carrot is such a common vegetable that's usually the one people think of. Not saying I'm special or anything.
It's not special, it's just simple math, according to my calculations, you can use x for your number and the final result will be 4, not to be nerdy or anything
I missed the you you at 0:250:45 I'm happy outgoing 1:02 I was tricked. 2:45 one plus one is 2 2:46 2 plus 2 is 4 2:49 4 plus 4 is 8 2:52 8 plus 8 is 16 2:56 carrot 3:40 donor 3:48 yes but later before I noticed her ponytail which is shaped like a human head. That's what I thought 4:40 he tore out 6 pages that's what I thought 5:19 I thought of the number 2 5:25 I knew about the tounge line 6:17 I saw a cake with a slice cut off 6:50 I got 13 7:12 18 didn't have a calculator with me at 7:17 while writing this message so sorry but you can subtract for 6 7:29 again don't have a calculator so really you're going to have to do some of this 7:40 same for 7:407:57 yeah you have to do that math but you should be able to get my name 8:01 no don't have a calculator so try and guess with all that information.
I know how the trick @8:01 works. When you apply the math to the number, you come out with the exact same number. Then the numbers that were assigned to your letter were just used again to basically do the same thing you did in reverse.
To be more specific, multiplying your number by 2 and then 5 means you're multiplying by 10. So, for example, a 4 would become 40, a 6 would become 60, etc. Then the 3x5 (15) means your number ends in 5 and the first digit is 1 higher than your original number. So 55 for a 4, 75 for a 6, etc. Subtracting 6 means the last digit will always be 9 and the digits in front will be your original number.. Are these supposed to be clever or something?

Page 7 and 8 are the same page since it starts as an odd number. 100-101 and 222-223 start even, so I assumed that They simply didn't tell you that pages 99, 102, 221, and 224 were also torn out. Also there were no mentions of page breaks in the book, meaning that considering that would be extraneous information. All in all, the question is missing some details. If it were rewerded to start the second two pairs with an odd number, we would have avoided needless confusion.
I was about to comment to say the same thing but I saw yours so...
@@theonlypc4906 so I'm not crazy lol good
@@kabluei you're right indeed, the channel got it wrong. Pages could be either 4 or 5

That is my name
@Barnes Family Barnes Family that’s not how you spell “Cot” it’s “Caught” Because a “Cot” is like a Crib

Hello lucas
It’s a trick to make every number end up being 4 5:17

1.Naive 2.Happy 3.Charming 4.Genuine
2:55 I said 32 lol
5:16 Literally every number is left with four
Except for four or five digit negative numbers
at 3:32 it depends on what part you focus on if you change where you think it begins the sound changes
I found dramatic, sweet, and restless in that word search, which is the complete opposite of me
I found dramatic, naive, sweet, and passionate
(a lot of those don’t match me.)
5:23 He actually did!🤯🤯😳😳😳😳
NO freaking way. He read my mind for the number. I ended up with 4 at the end! 😲🤯
Me too
yeah yeah yeah whatever it's a trick where whatever number you pick it ends up with 4
I got 5 1/2
It's always 4 if you put in a whole number.
@@mattthemat14287 yeah

If you stare at the middle of the 2nd optical illusion thing where it's actually not moving, the layers legit get removed.
The hidden word was Hide and seek
Omg yes I answered number 4 that was insaneeeeeeeeeee
It's a number trick no matter what number you choose it will always end up as 4
Its literally the easiest numbers trick in the book
I saw the cake first
Yeah
Nah if you don't add 8 you get 0
The 8 was divided by 2 into four which is the result
Bro any number you say for that one you will always end up with 4 if you do it the way it says to do it
5:26 On the tongue, A has a line on it while B doesn't
Sweet dramatic patient
7 and 8 are the same page, but 100 and 101 are different pages and so are 122 and 123
Exactly, unless Page 7 is on the left, page 8 on the right and then Page 100/101 and Page 222/223, for a total of 4 pages instead of 5
Happy, patient, Sentimental, and lovely!!
Same except sentimental

0:36 Passion,loyal, happy!(I also saw "lovely,dramatic, patient,peaceful, talented and thoughtful!)
Bro he actually read my mind on the vegetable one
It didn't work for me, I thought of cucumber. I'm guessing that since carrot is such a common vegetable that's usually the one people think of. Not saying I'm special or anything.
Same
Me too.
Lethargic,passionate, and loyal
The tong!
When he did the number part at 5:00 he actually got what I was thinking
No matter what number you pick the answer will be the same
It's not special, it's just simple math, according to my calculations, you can use x for your number and the final result will be 4, not to be nerdy or anything
I read naive, shy ☺️, and sweet
Happy, loyal and sweet! I saw those first on the 2 one!
I saw happy, sweet, dramatic and patient and those are also 4 of my personalities
I found lazy and drama and lovely and it fits me well😂
Wow
Do that
loyal, sweet, naive, witty
On the vegetable part, I guessed carrot and he said carrot! Impressive!
OMG I guess the carrot, and he got it😂
Who WOULDN'T? 😆 It's a good trick. Which word did you see on the face first?
For the first four words, i got dramatic, passionate, outspoken, and witty. I was thinking of a tomato :)
Tomato is not a vegetable lol it’s actually a fruit
Amazing!
Ha ha, you got tricked. I put broccoli.😂😂😂
I don't think he is reading our minds. It actually works for every number!
me, who has chosen infinite: you bet?
If you did not subtract your number at the end, he CANNOT effectively guess your number
You are right, he does not reads our minds😒
I missed the you you at 0:25 0:45 I'm happy outgoing 1:02 I was tricked. 2:45 one plus one is 2 2:46 2 plus 2 is 4 2:49 4 plus 4 is 8 2:52 8 plus 8 is 16 2:56 carrot 3:40 donor 3:48 yes but later before I noticed her ponytail which is shaped like a human head. That's what I thought 4:40 he tore out 6 pages that's what I thought 5:19 I thought of the number 2 5:25 I knew about the tounge line 6:17 I saw a cake with a slice cut off 6:50 I got 13 7:12 18 didn't have a calculator with me at 7:17 while writing this message so sorry but you can subtract for 6 7:29 again don't have a calculator so really you're going to have to do some of this 7:40 same for 7:40 7:57 yeah you have to do that math but you should be able to get my name 8:01 no don't have a calculator so try and guess with all that information.
huh
Were you reading my mind? Absolutely everything that was on my mind you said it. Are you a brain or mind magician?
🥰🤔🤭🤗❤💞
THANKS GUYS👍🤜
OMG 5:17 THEY READ MY MIND
I CANT BEILEIVE IT
I know how the trick @8:01 works.
I'm dumb Lol 😂😅
Well technically it just asked you to encode then decode, but I laughed in my brain. Keep up the good work!
Yep
DONUT
Talented, charmistac, and honest😊
yes you read my mind😮😮😮
