How many vocalists can do something like this? This is nothing but raw talent, no filters, no gimmicks, no sound engineering, no auto-tune. Nothing but them. Not that there are many doubters of their talent but that should put any doubts in the grave.
i recommend this performance to everyone who ever does pentatonix reactions because it is a beautiful example of what they can do, and you see them doing it without even mics(except kevin of course, so we can get the full experience of the percussion). Like, this is them. Everything you hear, studio or live, it's all them.
Would loved more live PTX from you. Their popspring 2016 performance, the daft punk live in a green room and their aha at the star vista in Singapore to name a few. Also Mitch released his second single this week was Messer called Angels Pray.
Popspring 2016 is such a great little concert set. Mitch really kills it during Can't Sleep Love, and seeing Evolution of Michael Jackson done live is a treat.
Love this off-mic performance they did for a media interview! It let us hear who was doing what! SO amazing how they can sing those parts/ harmonies standing right next to each other!

I think Matt and Scott would do it, both of them are really open about outlet interviews. Mitch, after everything in the past 2 years, is probably really selective when it comes to stuff like that can't blame him.
Equally amazing is that there is never a moment where each one does not have some sound to make, and yet there were not off-chords throughout. In a song with this complexity they are constantly changing. And yet they do the same thing for an hour or more at concerts without score sheets, etc. They truly have set the standard.
I would love to see you interview pentatonix. Your unique perspective and the break down you provide would be great. Added to the mix, is your appreciation and obvious enjoyment for their music and talent. I will definitely be looking forward to that. When, not if they come on your show. Keep up the good work. I will suggest some others to react to after i watch your 150 videos, again. To see if you missed anything. Was going to same something special. But all of their stuff is simply amazing.

What they did live, you credited to in-studio touches. Don't ask to interview Superfruit. It does not currently exist. It would be great to get to interview some PTX members.

Avi has have a nice 5 octave range and he is after all, a polyphonic/overtone singer. He has so much control over his instrument, way beyond his classical vocal training.
I know you covered Pentatonix with a young contestant awhile ago. Pentatonix now has this song and video out. Pentaholics are suggesting it's another Grammy contender. Time will tell.
Please please try to interview Avi. Would love for you to ask how his songwriting process is different writing now with instruments versus writing a capella songs. Thanks for your great videos and only small criticism is the screen you watch of the artist is a bit too small.

I think from a harmony and tone perspective this is one of the most impressive live performances I have seen from them, however, I do think they had a few problems with holding the speed and rhythm which is unfortunate. Still beyond impressive though
