I live out in the country, in the middle of nowhere. I loved hearing the chat as I felt like I was at lunch with two girlfriends. Everything you said was so true. May I add, that you will find a decade having passed, and you will be amazed at how that happened! I have just turned 70. That number was REALLY difficult. It is nice to hear how you both dealt, or celebrated, with some of your birthdays. Friendship makes everything easier. Don’t you think? That is what this side of TH-cam is for me. It fills a void that I physically cannot, due to our location, as well as COVID. Thank you for this. 💕

I completely agree, friendship makes this journey so much easier. Having like minded women like you, who we can talk these things through with, is priceless. I am sorry to hear you live so remote, that must be challenging at times. And of course, covid is not helping.
I feel quite isolated as well, since this pandemic, and am so grateful for this community of amazing women. I am really happy you are here, and am so glad you enjoyed this conversation.
And yes, I can just imagine this next decade flying by. It really goes faster and faster as we get older.

Was so excited to see you both together !!!! Sunday morning treat !!! You inspire me when i look ahead to have role models of beauty, aliveness and joy !!! I am 48 and a half and so moved that your talking about the 50 birthday passage. I feel it ... Being alive is a privilege, but aging and accepting it with grace and fun is something. It is a rite of passage. I want to take care of aging the best i can and at the same time accept my age and changes. I do feel that the more vibrant and happy i feel the more i feel beautiful, no matter the wrinkles or numbers on the scale or candles on the cake * (gluten free cake lol ) . Listening to you makes me want to continue showing up authentically on my channel. Even without my mascara ! lol... And, to be honest, I've decided to spend less time watching too many videos about skincare/make up advices or read too much on FB (except for the people I love, like you 😉) : First of all because I was spending so much and I need to focus more on what is really important for me (ex. My marriage on june!), but even more because I have understood that I was using too many products and I was doing too much to my skin.
Need more semplicity and I feel better now! 😘

Funny to hear you both talk about the 26 year old who doesn’t know her beauty. I think you are correct that in our youth we don’t know our beauty. I look back on pictures of myself in my youth, and I can now see how I really looked, but back then I never saw myself as beautiful or even pretty. I once had a dream that allowed me to go back to my teenage years and see myself. In this dream, I approached my young self and introduced my older self and saw the innocence in my youthful eyes, and the beauty and personality I had. It was amazing because in this dream, I was wearing clothing that I remember having back then. My self confidence has always been an issue and I feel like God allowed me that dream to see myself through his eyes and through the eyes of others. I was a beautiful girl, inside and out. I’m not gloating or being conceited. Just trying to explain how some of us just don’t know our own beauty. I still struggle a little but working to own my beauty. Thanks for this video of beauty and allowing me to share here. I’m a new subbie coming from Tamaras channel.

This is the reason I am on TH-cam....you are ladies inspired us mature woman over 50...I would love to hear more off your thoughts about aging procedures like botox and fillers etc... I celebrated my 50 bday the last year with the pandemic so really hard one for me...

Hello Gorgeous Ladies! What a treat to see two of my favorite inspiring beauties team up. I like the term pro-aging and wisdom lines (rather than wrinkles). I want to be the best version of myself and getting botox, etc. is a part of it. I've never gotten so many compliments on my eyebrows since getting botox in my 11's. I've squinted for so many years and it smoothes and lifts the area nicely. Have a wonderful day! xo

I loved this. Wabi Sabi embracing the imperfections of life and in ourselves and aging. Aging is a gift. I’m proud to be mature. I found it interesting Claudia that while being sick you felt you missed your young beautiful years. Personally you are more beautiful now for what you are inside and what you have learned most importantly. If you do not feel it inside you will never be truly beautiful and accepting. You can be beautiful on the outside and an unkind human.
Unfortunately to many social media platforms and the beauty industry are sending a sad message and that’s why young people think they need injections and to change who they are. We need to change the story.

Thanks you to both of you❣️ age has nothing to do with number! It has been my karma always! When I was 16 and wanna do something I was ready to, my parents say you’re to young! And sure I wasn’t! Now at 68 people says that I have to cut my hair short because of my age! That’s so weird and make me feel argh! Age is what we feel! Look st Claudia’s experience at her 40s! Has nothing to do with her number but to her unhappiness and health issue! And look at her now! Talk of Claudia because I don’t know you beauty Tamara going grey doll! Amazing! I will visit you! my two favorite youtubers. for me 50 was great, i felt free from obligation and felt free to do and say what i want, but 60?? my god , i felt that was a big number. now i am 71 and it is a breeze 😀
