Our exclusive interview with the legendary TV personality Wayne Carini unveils the story behind his 1969 Ford Torino Talladega GPT Special, set to roar across the block at MECUM Auctions Glendale on Saturday, March 9th. While at the museum we also had the opportunity to speak with Mel Martin, the owner of the Martin Auto Museum. Mel shares with us a bit about himself and how his passion for the hobby started, as well as this journey that had begun early for him at the young age of 17. Mel unpacks the story of his beloved 1918 Douglas dump truck that was gifted to him by his uncle that he still has today and is out on display at the museum, as well as the story of his 1 of 51 ever produced Tucker 48s that he named "Sally" in honor of his late wife who passed the same day of him acquiring the car.
