I’ll be one to say I was thrilled when they finally told one another how they feel and I really want them to pursue their relationship. They’re incredible partners and this is why they’ll be an amazing couple
I think (I hope) the writers understand that a very big reason the series was renewed was due to the incredible and organized pressure placed on NBC and CBS from Magnum PI fans to renew- the vast majority of these fans are devout Magnum/Higgins shippers - although we will likely see some ups and downs in this relationship - like any other healthy relationship-, I think the writers will respect the wishes of the fans and keep these two together and advance the relationship to marriage and/or having a child - after all, the ending song for 4 x 20 was "I Was Born To Love You".
