As a former street bike rider, the lack of heat and lack of noise is a nice advantage. I remember sitting at stop lights in the summer and the heat pouring off the engine was immense and very uncomfortable. However I would be extremely pissed if I paid that much for an electric motorcycle and kept dying on me in traffic.
The lack of noise is technically a plus as far as not disturbing people around you which can be to your advantage. However when it comes to stunning I learned how to wheelie by listening to the engine knowing when and how to shift, twist , pull it's crazy wheeling with zero motor noise. The instant torque takes a lot of getting used to aswell
No it's because its got to much regen set. So it tripping out because the throttle hasn't been set properly to not engage the regen as much as it was. Also he probably had problems with the phone connection to the bike
ive never seen an actual motocross rider make this thing cut out, im almost 100% sure its a stuck throttle protection, since if youre in an appropriate power mode youll never go open throttle on a track unless you crash the throttle gets stuck into the ground.
When you ride dirt bikes on motocross tracks, you occasionally fall off and it hurts, even if you don't sprain or break something. Its a reminder to be more careful so that you don't have to feel more pain. Street riding you generally don't get the reminder, as pretty much everything is totally fine until one day you collide with a car or truck and it really really isn't fine - much worse than a motocross wreck.
Videos like these are why there is starting to be new laws on these rides (and i fully agree that it has gotten way out of hand with the way people are riding these on the streets and even on sidewalks). The new laws will be ramping up quickly through next few months for sure . But at the same time I like watching the videos . So there’s that 😂

This one made me butt puck right up! I used to ride like that, goin 25 on 8" MBS T3 tires...🤌, whippin and slidin the tail like it's nothing. Eboards were my thing and that was 2016. Did it so much that i can longer ride. My knees are done. The blood dont flow right anymore from the knee down. I wish i had a trip counter. I wouldn't be surprised at the number of miles i put on between 2 evolve GT boards. With a normal trip being about 15 miles and as soon as i got done with one board, I'd take the other one out. And over and over. Now im looking at disability. Dont stop what you're doing man. I get my adrenaline fix through vids like this..and this one did NOT disappoint
As a motorcycle rider for over 18years this shit gave me anxiety he's going to get hit or tbone someone not an if but when unfortunately. He's a great rider, just driving aggressive and a boat load of under skilled cagers equals another statistic

Please be careful with going super fast. Supermoto geometry is much different than that of a sport bike and so by nature the sumo setups are far more susceptible to speed wobble. I have a few supermotos and I have experienced this far more than I would like. I still ride like a mad man, but now all the bikes have a damper equipped to help reduce the risk of it happening. You really should look into a steering damper for that bike.... It could save you from some scary situations! Not sure if you can get one for the varg triple setup but if you can it would be well worth it! Keep up the great content man! Ride safe bro! 🤙
I feel like it was cutting out because Stark tuned the motor for it to be used up to 3/4 of the modes max hp output, I saw a few people commenting that on some forums. Also try turning down the regen, I've had the same cut out issue when pushing e-scooters and e-bikes to the limit with regen turned all the way up.
The dangers from cross traffic look excessive. Heading into an intersection pulling a wheelie at a high rate of speed what happens if a vehicle in the cross street runs a red light?

The problem with dirt bikes on the street is people doing wheelies and burnouts and other reckless behavior, which is helping to bring negative attention and eventual legislation to limit their use. Right?
Only problem for me is the really the noise, there is dumb drivers everywhere, usually when Sur Ronster type of kids drive around, they are risking too much to not to focus on their surroundings and that makes them much better riders. I say keep it illegal to make them scared, but lower the police difficulty for ebikers, so they only catch really noisy bikes and bad riders :D
I hate to be the karen of the situation but please respect red lights. Even if you’re doing it at your own risk , you are showing to the kids that want to be just like you the wrong thing and without you knowing some , will get hurt . I say this because I respect you and the work you do bro . Also regarding the cut off of the bike , the way i see it , it can be two things: to much regen and it makes the bike go in tilt ( try riding with no regen ) or can be that the bike is set up so you can’t run it at full throttle more then 20 seconds or so (in which case you can’t do much about it , being a safety measure) . Try it and tell me if it works

I used to ride with guys who rode like this. Many of them are no longer with us, and some are severely injured. It's just not worth it. Additionally, I work in the tech realm and can tell you that the way his bike cut off while driving is a glimpse into the future of electric bikes. It will become mandatory for all manufacturers to install kill switches on these bikes, controlled from a centralized location. This is definitely going to happen, which is why we can't abandon gas bikes (with carburetors).

It makes no sense that it cuts out like that in 35hp mode, I’ve seen a bunch of videos of pro motocross riders ripping it on tracks in 60+ hp mode and it was fine. Surely it would get hotter on the track?

That cool down time when the bike shut off is so inconvenient. If it’s any way they can fix it bike is super solid. And I enjoy of how quiet it is compared to gas bikes. Wonder how well it will hold up over time. I still got dirt bike and atv from years ago

For all the people commenting on the last video that the bike cutting out was normal behavior there is obviously something wrong with this bike. It's cutting out when no where near max power.

I'm thinking that maybe the 30 horsepower mode has a speed and torque limiter, similar to an Eco mode on a Surron or Talaria. That may be why it cuts out. You could be exceeding the limits programmed in that mode. Try the 80 horsepower mode and do a full throttle run to compare. Sick riding, and awesome video bro! 🤘

From what I can tell is that the regenerative braking kicking in after dropping the throttle is what is making it cut out, could be wrong but that is what it seems to be, would try turning regen off and pinning it for a while and dropping the throttle a couple of times if it doesn’t cut out on the first one. I made my own hobby grade RC car that would go around 120mph but I set up a regen braking system which other than weighing it down when I would pin it then release the throttle it would shut off completely. However, when I removed the regen system I did a top speed run only to see the difference between the weights, and it never had any power failures of any kind.
If you drive around in Belgium without papers, insurance, license plate and lights, they will confiscate your motorcycle and the judge will impose a hefty fine. Lucky Ronster😂😂😂😂
The city is just different. One time I went up a 1 way the wrong way and hit a car head on totalling both cars. The other driver called the cops and they were pisssed. They said "you called 911 for a fender bender? We have people being shot and we're wasting our time with this?" It was no fender bender, both cars were destroyed and leaking fluids all over the street. They didnt even test me to see if I was drinking. I couldn't believe it, never seen anything like it. If that happened where I live now, it would be the biggest news of the town and everyone would know about it

The regen needs to be tuned or at least turned down. Also he has a bit of a habit of full on releasing the throttle instead of down throttling.

That cool down time when the bike shut off is so inconvenient. If it’s any way they can fix it bike is super solid. And I enjoy of how quiet it is compared to gas bikes. Wonder how well it will hold up over time. I still got dirt bike and atv from years ago

For all the people commenting on the last video that the bike cutting out was normal behavior there is obviously something wrong with this bike. It's cutting out when no where near max power.

Such a shame...you really do seem like a decent person, just young and impressionable and has grown up watching this phase of 'gangs' that unlawfully ride dirt bikes/quads illegally on public roadways with little to no repercussions which makes you think it's acceptable. I'm thinking that maybe the 30 horsepower mode has a speed and torque limiter, similar to an Eco mode on a Surron or Talaria. That may be why it cuts out. You could be exceeding the limits programmed in that mode. Try the 80 horsepower mode and do a full throttle run to compare. Sick riding, and awesome video bro! 🤘

I used to ride with guys who rode like this. Many of them are no longer with us, and some are severely injured. It's just not worth it. Additionally, I work in the tech realm and can tell you that the way your bike cut off while driving is a glimpse into the future of electric bikes. It will become mandatory for all manufacturers to install kill switches on these bikes, controlled from a centralized location. This is definitely going to happen, which is why we can't abandon gas bikes (with carburetors).

From what I can tell is that the regenerative braking kicking in after dropping the throttle is what is making it cut out, could be wrong but that is what it seems to be, would try turning regen off and pinning it for a while and dropping the throttle a couple of times if it doesn’t cut out on the first one. I made my own hobby grade RC car that would go around 120mph but I set up a regen braking system which other than weighing it down when I would pin it then release the throttle it would shut off completely. However, when I removed the regen system I did a top speed run only to see the difference between the weights, and it never had any power failures of any kind.
If you drive around in Belgium without papers, insurance, license plate and lights, they will confiscate your motorcycle and the judge will impose a hefty fine. Lucky Ronster😂😂😂😂

They do the same thing in USA with dirt bikes plus you can go to jail lose your license for years + fines
The city is just different. One time I went up a 1 way the wrong way and hit a car head on totalling both cars. The other driver called the cops and they were pisssed. They said "you called 911 for a fender bender? We have people being shot and we're wasting our time with this?" It was no fender bender, both cars were destroyed and leaking fluids all over the street. They didnt even test me to see if I was drinking. I couldn't believe it, never seen anything like it. If that happened where I live now, it would be the biggest news of the town and everyone would know about it
