Jagjit singhs gazals were all about the lyrics ...the wit and playful yet so well thought through and cleverly connecting words ..absolute chefs kiss. But i don't know if the translation will bring the same joy
My goodness, the way these two sometimes get the pulse of the song and the situation just by listening to the music and the tone of singer is amazing. I get to learn so many nuances by watching their videos.
Rekha Bhardwaj is the wife of movie and music director Vishal Bhardwaj. He makes the music for all the movies he directs and usually there's at least one song sung by Rekha on his soundtracks. One of my favourite Hindi songs ever is "Raat Ke Dhai Baje" and that song is a rare one as it has 4 singers primarily on it (plus one more adlibbing), these being Rekha Bhardwaj, Sunidhi Chauhan, Suresh Wadkar and Kunal Ganjawala. Sunidhi and Kunal both have relatively youthful voices while Rekha and Suresh sound somewhat mature and this directly ties to the meaning of the lyrics, penned by the great Gulzar. It's also great to hear the vocal harmonies.
Jagajit singh jee is one of the most talented musicians of all time he mainly sang and composed Gazals which is a form of literature.( Can be thought of as a collection of rhyming verses that are of a similar theme but not directly connected with one another) it's an old genre but jagajit jee popularized it among the masses by composing ghazals that were written in common language without too many obscure words and unlike most gazal singers before him who used to sing with a very formal classical setup he generally sang them in a semi classical manner and frequently used western instrument in his arrangements which was more accessible to most of the listeners. I cannot tell you what a joy it is to listen to him just imagine a piece of poetry that can deeply move you just by reading it but it's been sung to you by the most talented singer in the most beautiful composition. That's the experience we get by listening to jagajit jee. He toured across the globe and you will find hundreds of hours of video of his live tours on TH-cam. Though if you wanna explore his music then you will have to be patient as most of his pieces are long and they build up very slowly.

Rekha Bharadwaj is one of the most soothing and equally trained and most underrated female singer in the industry… Her voice is like meditation and every song, she sang is a class. Jagjit Singh had same soothing effect in male singers…
It is not surprising that Rekha Bhardwaj can sing so well. She is trained hindustani classical singer. Her guru was Pandit Amarnath who was chief disciple of Ustad Amir Khan ( not to be confused with actor Amir Khan). Ustad Amir Khan is considered to be among the greatest of Hindustani classical vocalist of 20th century. Rekha has imbibed elements of singing style of this Indore gharana (school) of singing of Ustad Amir Khan.
Hi Guys Iam from India. Rekha bharadwaj is a legendardy singer she has sung many songs and her husband Vishal bharadwaj is also a legendary singer and music director. Please review their songs and performances.
Jagjit Singh is the king of Ghazal singing, typically musical rendition of some great poems which literally touch your heart. Ghazals is one area of Indian music you are yet to touch so far. Please do review
You should do full review of Chal Chaiya Chaiya and Khuda Jane..... These 2 will always be in our memories.... Pretty sure you will be enjoying these 2 songs and music video
I love how literally the legends of this industry like Jagjit Singh, KishoreKumar and Mohammad Rafi were just shown as other singers...but its ok, atleast they got to know their names.😂😂
Jagjit Singh was a legend, lovely voice which touches your soul. His song in the movie Tum Bin is my favourite in fact all songs of the movie Tum Bin were just superb. Another one is his album Love is Blind. Long back after a hectic schedule when going to sleep I used to keep Two speakers on both sides of my bed and play his songs with full bass full treble and lowest volume of song and such a relaxing thing it was.
Mohammad Rafi styled Md. Rafi /Rafisaab Or simply Rafi is Romance song King of Golden Era. His voice is pure gold and the way he conveys romance through his singing is sublime. In Indian singing we have something called as places in songs. It's where you understand how amazing ia singer is: when he takes the place to a sublime level through singing and never misses it.
It's not "iver" it pronounced as "Eye" +"r"=eyer,if you want to listen some of her songs then-"bolna halke halke","aaj ki raat"chup chup k" are best choices, she also sang jai ho song of Slumdog millionaire movie.
Please please do a full video on Jagjit singh. His discography is full of hits. His songs are go to for heartbroken people who're fresh out of a relationship. His voice has such a soothing effect. He's also done many good devotional songs. A big big fan of Jagjit Singh.
Please react to Jagjit Singh! He is known in the masses for singing a specific kind of poetry named "Ghazal". It is a two-line rhyming scheme format famous for bringing out complex emotions. The ghazals he chose from different poets predominantly revolve around love, heartbreak, longing and despair. Check out his recorded ghazals like koi fariyad and hoshwalo ko khabar kya. Also his live performances in sydney and dubai are magical.

Jaggu dada (Jagjith Singh) is my all time favorite and have been fortunate to attend many of his ghazal concerts... Unfortunately, you won't be able to hear him live anymore but he lives forever in all our hearts. Ghazals is a genre you should get to know more (I had told this before) but unfortunately getting good videos with the right translations are a bit difficult. Ghazals are poetry and hence you should have some knowledge about the lyrics to appreciate it fully

In many interviews Chitra ji used to cry and blame herself for being a bad mother. Her daughter also went through domestic violence and harassment before her suicide so that just added to pain and guilt.
Mohammed rafi and kishore Kumar are the biggest legendary singers of all time and emotion to us

Check Mohammed Rafi duets with Lata Mangeshkar. They are literally heavenly.
Rekha Bharadwaj is one of the most soothing and equally trained and most underrated female singer in the industry… Her voice is like meditation and every song, she sang is a class. Jagjit Singh had same soothing effect in male singers…
Bang on , Jagjit Singh passed away but he was a Ghazal singer. Ghazals are a form of Indian poetry and often lend themselves to a ballad like nature.

Okayy..but the way Efra everytime say lord Himesh is jst so....😂😂😂
6:35 "maha-lashakmki- Ieyer" effra naming perfume 🤣🤣🤣 lol!
"mere mahboob kayamat hogi, aaj rushwa teri galiyon se mohabbat hogi" what an fantastic line
14:44 Jajit Singh in the Live setting you ask for? Well well well, you won't be disappointed. 😁❤
Kabhi Sham Dhale by Mahalaksmi Iyer is absolutely Beautiful than the others song... You gotta check it out guys. Salam from Indonesia 👌
Jagjit Singh sir was legend with many live concerts. Please do review.
guys can you review whole Aashiqui 1 & 2 albums in next FF Podcast..you know all songs from both movies are unmatchable..pls pls pls 🙏🙏🙏🙏
also when will you start reacting to movies?
Jaggu dada (Jagjith Singh) is my all time favorite and have been fortunate to attend many of his ghazal concerts... Unfortunately, you won't be able to hear him live anymore but he lives forever in all our hearts. Ghazals is a genre you should get to know more (I had told this before) but unfortunately getting good videos with the right translations are a bit difficult. Ghazals are poetry and hence you should have some knowledge about the lyrics to appreciate it fully
Falguni Pathak ...... total nostalgia ...❤❤
Jagjit singh ❤💔
I am obsessed with his songs since childhood.
His songs are slow, mild but penetrate deep into the heart.
It's all about lyrics & vocals...and how much you can feel it.
Sometimes his songs brings back memories and tears into my eyes.
