125 is a good starter bike but you'll looking for more power in no time.....250 will give you plenty and some... my 2 cents

@@probro1116 Rm85 for £900 which is around $1100/1200 and I sprayed the rims, bout new plastics graphics for £250/ $300 and got frame powder coated which I don’t know how much it cost. Cleaned up the engine and other parts, got engine rebuild for £300/ $400

in latvia bikes is so expensive: used kx 125 = 1500$/used cr 85 (no plastic) = 1300$
In finland yamaha banshee = 3000€
I wish I could do something like this I want a good bike but can’t afford it at the moment my parents are financially struggling at the moment and I have to work to get money and help out my family but sometime this Christmas I should be able to sale my bike and get a bigger bike I can ride, right now I ride a crf125 and I’m looking to get a crf150r expert. It’s personal preference but u could get a cr85 big wheel instead bc I got a kx100 just to ride around on and it’s great. Hope u get a bike and stay safe👍

all balls racing bearings i use to rebuild my 250 for my micro just we have to be a stock 250 with some stuff we can open but i run 2 stroke

Now that is a proper dirt bike 2 stroke and green hehe red is okay too if 2 stroke, had both loved both. Nothing says dirtbike like a 2 stroke on the pipe slinging terra firma in the air

Probably put them all in zip lock baggies and have a marker ready to name them. Otherwise you'll forget.

To pay someone for a rebuilt engine, including labour it’s usually about 700$ USD for a two stroke. Than you have to look at what new parts you need such as bushing / bearings, rims and tires, exhaust system if the current one is badly damaged, etc. Usually for a basic bike build you are looking at 1500-2500 USD not including the initial cost of the bike

Max Lancaster the engine is the only thing I said you would pay someone for. If you are a beginner you probably don’t want to dive straight into engine rebuilds. You don’t really save much money doing it that way. I have built several bikes and a lot of the time you end up spending more money with clapped bikes

Chad Hasty Cameron Niemela did way more to his bike and that’s why it cost more, im sure he spent a little more than $800 because he just got OEM parts and restyled it. Basically a full engine rebuild and new plastics and front forks

NO ONE sells a KX125 any year for $800. Not one that runs. People are crazy, trying to sell a 1988 yz250 for like $2600 or a 1991 RM250 with a blown top for $3k lol people are crazy right now

I did a similar project on a 91 KX 250 I got from a salvage yard. I want to find a 85 KX 250 or 500 and do this again. On another note... i would have thought he would have rebuilt the top end while the entire motor apart. I mean he split the cases...
