Aviana has never done a bad job whatsoever at bringing intensity, heaviness, but incredibly clean and precise instrumentals. Love these guys! Hope they make it to the states for shows
First time catching these guys - but I'm digging what I hear. A nice blend of some of my favorite elements. They have a similar vibe to a more melodic "Assemble the Chariots"

@@Thystonius listening to kolstom for the 1st time, reminded me of listening to slipknot's Iowa for the 1st time. Loved every song. Kolstom has excellent production.
TBH - after hearing the new album of Jinjer many metalcore music sounds so predictable. Where many people feel Jinjer is too complex for them (same crap Dream Theater used to get from many metalheads), I feel many bands are too much of the same. Great vocals though.

Also, if you think Jinjer is not complex, you obviously lack any musical theoretical insights... not even talking about the phenomenal technicality of all instrumentals, you're disregarding the composition... did you even listen to Vortex, Mediator or Wallflower?
Now just delete the clean vocals and the song will sound better. I'll only say it once, though I could say it of all songs. This includes Spiritbox, Jinjer, and rock bands with metal elements. Give me Archspire, Bonecarver, Frozen Soul, Eternal Desolator, Defamed, and so on any day. *Taking a breath* Anyway GC, great as always!
I'm with you. I feel like there's been this huge push towards bands using way more clean vocals and now we've got this whole genre of metalcore by numbers that's formulaic and predictable.
