- Daemon Taaragaryen set out to the Riverlands to hunt down and end the terror that was Aemon one eye. With him, he brought the brown-skinned dragon seed Nettels and her dragon sheep stealer. Their relationship was close, closer perhaps than it should have been for a Prince Consort and a nothing baseborn girl. And thus rumors spread and reached the ears of the ever jealous Rhaenrya Targaryen. Over on dragonstone Dragon fought Dragon to the deatah, with the bloody remains of the Cannibal appearing on the shore. Who had killed the beast was not known all that could be said that it was another dragon.
The Dance Of The Dragons will be the focus of the plot of the new HBO spin-off House Of The Dragon coming in 2022. So if you want to learn the story before we see HBO's take on it then this will be a very long-running series. Game Of Thrones / House of the dragon are HBO shows based on Geroge R R Martins A Song Of Ice And Fire series. The information in this video comes from the books a world of ice and fire as well as fire and blood.
Much of the information in the video comes directly from Fire & Blood, with supplementary additions from the wiki and myself to enhance the narrative. I would highly recommend you pick up a copy of fire and blood and read it for yourself as it is criminally underrated.

Laena wasn’t Daemons 1st wife, she was his 2nd wife. Rhea Royce was his 1st wife but he didn’t like her and never had a kid with her.

Wait, but we already know that GRRM likes to play w/ words and give hints in his word play. Nettles Dragon was literally named Sheep Stealer, and for Nettles to get the sheep (or half a goat or a crust of bread) the first thing you think of is s3x work and not sheep stealing?
Plus she does have a scare of on her nose for when she was caught stealing..... So it's pretty plausible

I don’t believe that they were lovers. Mushroom is not a reliable source. I believe they had a Arya/Sandor kind of relationship but I am interested in how the show will portray their relationship.

This sounds like Daemon is a groomer seeing as he dealt similarly with the young Queen.
Yeah today he would be considered a predator and even back then in our Middle Ages this relationship would be discouraged due to his marriage, her being a bastard and the age difference. This would kind of weird back then and criminal today.

I do wonder how they will portray the Daemon and Nettils relationship. Especially in this day and age they’re going to need to tread real carefully.
I suspect they may age nettles up a bit like the did with Danny and maybe have her somewhere in her early to mid 20s

Dany was 13 in the books when she married Drogo and like 20 in the show so it’s safe to say they have no issue ageing characters up

That makes no sense so even if she flew and seen the guys on the boat it's not like she could stop and talk to him to get their account of what happened all she would have done is flown by same Sailors and that's it so no one would have even known what they had to say still

I thought Nettles character said that anyone could claim and ride a dragon with the skill to manage them. Like a wild dog they can be trained.
It's important to remember George Martin's favorite fairytale is Beauty and the Beast. Daemon and Nettles can be seen as another form of this:

If Nettles
was written right she would of been Daemons lover, had his child or children. Sheepstealer could of changed sex since now neetles is with child and sheepstealer would lay eggs. She could of stayed in hiding, her and her children raising dragons and eventually her children find lovers/partners of their own. There could be a whole land of dragons that no one has discovered. Perhaps Arya the explorer would find this land.

Now that the Velaryons are black (and by extension, Daemon's daughters are half-black), Nettle would probably remind him of them and this would further the father-daughter interpretation. Plus the show writers have pretty much made Daemon an asshole with a heart of a gold
