These are the best catamarans money can buy, this one might be old but she’s still worthy. If I’m not mistaken these Cat can hit 27+ knots. This is my favorite Cat builder out of all of them, this design with the inside wheel and doors that open to the front outside, it’s the best. Would love to charter one of these for a long long voyage around the world. Maybe one day though if not they’re fun to look at in these videos.
@8:35 - Pushing thirty knots sounds exhilarating. The greatest times I have had in sailing is probably in a Laser doing 10 - 12 knots. Not sure at what speed the Lazer's hull starts to hum, but it always meant I was having fun.
Resins are mostly comparable, what matters most is controlling the resin application to reach the optimal resin/fiber ratio. (If there are places without resin, the structure will delaminate; but if you just add more resin to make sure that it's everywhere, the structure will be too heavy.) That is why we've seen the shift from wet layup (resin applied by hand) to infusion (resin pulled in by a vacuum) to prepreg (resin applied in factory).
What a Sexy looking boat. You definitely trace space for speed and looks. With exception to The rear lounge that looks amazing. I was thinking that theme would continue through out the boat. But it looks more like a Race Horse with a Couch for a Saddle :) what do you think that boat cost’s
What I don't understand with this and many other cat's why the helms position is on the extreme corner of the hull, with no any form of railings behind that position. one weird bounce in the waves and you go tumbling down that stern stairs and overboard :S
Made by the Frogs 🐸? No…. Never… While sailing a French boat, it may turn and run in the opposite direction and leave everyone else to clean up their mess.. 🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐
yeah. what a silly statement. the French make some of the best sailboats/catamarans you can buy. Garcia/Allures, Alubat, Amel, Gunboat/Outremer, Privilege. Never mind the major charter boats Beneteau, Jeanneau, Lagoon, and Fountaine Pajot.
Nothing to add. Fantastic.

Which one is it? Break Free is built 2022, so it wouldn’t be „old“ at all!
Ok it’s Tosca, built in 2021! Is this called a old boat? Really 😂😂
The ultimate sailing machine. It's a very good karma to own one. This baby is made to fly really.
Very nice boat mate 😁👍🏴
Thanks 👍
Make a great livaboard, but no seating on the outside helms?
@5:28 - I believe those are egress windows, incase the boat goes turtle, but not sure.

Wow, i kinda thought the layout on the main floor would have been better..
I wonder if different epoxies have a weight difference . 20 ton . That thing has to be fast
Yes it dose very fast speed

Nice. Could it be equipped with a kite instead of a sail?
Both

I'll take 3 please.
That port hole is an escape hatch. These boats flip over real good.
Only if fools operate them!
I’m not a sailor so my comment may not be accurate. Who wants to make a long passage with both helms out in the sun and every bit of weather?

Youre very generous in trying to educate the ignorant
