I really like where the show went when Charo said, “Let’s talk about LIFE!” She then proceeds to very eloquently tell a sweet and funny story about her trip to Colombia. Sometimes we forget that we were all young once, and what that felt like. We see Tom’s mom and think she’s just this crazy old lady that cracks us up, but then she reminds us that she’s a real person and not just a YMH character. I don’t know it was all just very genuine.

I’m 10 minutes in, and this is already my favorite episode. This is the first one I’ve seen of Tom’s mom. It’s already amazing when Tom does impressions of his mom, but actually seeing and experiencing his mom and her cadence/accent/humor/responses just makes it that much better 😂😂 I love it. When Tom's Mom is on the pod it's really easy to see where Tom gets his "stupid poor's" attitude or "jokes" from. That woman has the most transactional love interactions that I've seen a mother pull on her children.
