Beautiful effect! I need to get a metal plate to be able to do that. When I bought my machine the plates were out of stock. That's needed for the cut and foil plates to work also. Too bad it's not already included with the machine.
I am surprised that you keep the lead of the Gorpress when going through the cutting machine as I saw another video from Couture Creations explaining that the lead should be left open and replaced by the cutting machine plate when using an emboss folder. Depending on the cutting machine it may damage the machines as the Gopress lead is much thicker than a normal cutting machine plate. I can only advise to be cautious.

it needs to be heat activated foil for best results

Yes, this is true, it depends on the embossing folder thickness. Depends also on your cutting machine too.
