This was a movie, at first I thought was a decent, feel good movie to recommend to my friends. But by the time the credits rolled, I felt unclean and repulsed by watching this and the implications within this time stop universe. There were things in this movie I regret having watched.

This was a great video as always - I've seen the film and it's actually very well done. Its beautiful thought provoking, genuinely funny at times, and has a decent cast. Sure you need to get over the shock of nudity and long pauses on its worth checking out :)

Having walked into a friends house when he had someone visiting to find that person sitting naked on a chair I owned, I can confirm that people actually do walk around naked when they are guests.
I am from South America and we had an exchange student live with my family for 6 months. He was from Germany. He stuck out since he was pale blue eyed and light blonde hair. So he was always the center of atention everywhere we went. We were in our country club and this mf deadass changed into his swim trunks in the middle of the pool area infront of everybody. It is possible to feel romantic attraction without understanding it. Throughout the movie we notice odd behavior by Ben that hints that he is on the spectrum. Thus, his desire to 'appreciate the female form' is really just romantic attraction, but since he is on the spectrum and not mature enough to understand his feelings he just makes them naked and draws them.
FYI: Pedophiles sometimes use the exact argument as Ben in relation to children. Some pedophiles do not see children as sex objects, but rather their immaturity in an adult body with adult hormones leads them to feel an 'attraction' to kids. I've even read a post on Reddit before about someone that was subconsciously attracted to a child (long time ago don't ask for updates and IIRC we all told him to seek help instead of pursuing the kid think it was on r/askreddit) arguing that they aren't a pedophile because they have no sexual attraction to this child. Instead, they argued, that they deeply care for this child, want to spend as much time with them as possible, and to protect them from the world's horrors forever. There was more to the post but that is the nutshell version of it. I'd argue that it's possible this lack of awareness sometimes causes potential pedophiles to seek out children related occupations even before they realize that they are pedophiles.
Now back to Ben. If it isn't sexual attraction, why do the women have to be naked? Why does he have to do it without their consent? Why does he insist on drawing strangers instead of models? Why do the women have to be naked in person instead of digital photos? The answer: It's basically his fetish.
