That’s a Roland Go Mixer Pro X. You can connect it to a digital piano to allow you to record the sound directly to your smartphone while simultaneously taking the video. In other words, you don’t have to worry about background noise (traffic, dog barking etc) disturbing the recording.
Yes, there’s no editing or syncing involved here, this just simply supplies the audio into your video. You just connect it up and then begin your video on phone as normal.
