Takes me back to my Linka day’s. Refreshed my memory on how I use to make my moulds and the fun I had. I have now ordered a Tudor set from you. Can’t wait to get started.

Thanks for the video. It took me back 30 years to my, mostly inept, modelling with a 'Linka' set. My interest was wargaming, rather than railways. I had been hoping to try my hand again, but I'm shocked at how expensive the moulds are, and someone is going to require a fair number, to build anything. I'm not here just to complain, but I am a little mystified. I'd imagine that you probably have a very niche market, but cheaper moulds might expand the hobby. I think there is a largish fantasy crowd out there to be catered to as well. Good luck with your continued endeavours.

Just bought some sandbag moulds for a WW1 trench board I'm making, hope they come out as well as these. Great video👍

you should use a string plaster such as Hercilite or our tuffcast as these are much stronger than plaster of Paris 👍

I hate to be critical, but if I am trying to learn something from a video, The sound is as important if not more so than the picture, so the person doing the video should be equipped with a simple clip on lavaliere microphone, (about the cost of one of your moulds on-line). Also he needs to speak up and enunciate clearly like giving an important speech to a group, not mumbling to the table. Practice the full presentation a few times before recording so he doesn't have to look at what he is doing. (This will also give you some extra castings you can clean up, assemble and finish to show just how good and detailed your molds look when completed.) Make cue sheet taped up in front of him so he doesn't have to think about what he is supposed to say next. Don't have to act like an infomercial guy, but you should make the audience believe you are completely familiar and confident in your product.

Would you add the rinse aid to the water if using Herculite 2?

Yes, all plasters, just add a few drops, put the water in the cup then add the rinse aid, stir gently then add the plaster, works every time

Is the Tuffcast the same as the original powder that was used. Because I have the original instructions on how to mix the power and measuring scoops for power and water.

you may find its slightly different, so you may need to experiment, it needs to be creamy but thin enough to pour. actually you can make it thinner with tuffcast as it is a lot stronger than the old powder. you can also use herculite 2 as a casting powder if that helps
