Hi! I actually work at Michaels :) if you are still interested, or if anyone here is, after you apply you have to call the store and speak to their hiring manager about your application and setting up an interview, I had to call several times before I got the job haha. I love it though, my employee discount (30% every item in my purchase) is so so wonderful. It’s been a great first job :)
I honestly feel like everyone should stop giving those kinds of brushes to their kids even. The first time I got a proper brush (still cheap, but not shit), my mind was blown. Maybe good for babies who can barely hold a brush but let's start giving kids actual brushes they can work with please😂😂😂 Anyway, thanks for the video, Chloe!

Canada has the best dollar stores! There are actual good supplies from $1-$4! Those horrible plastic brushes just shouldn't exist. Why discourage and punish children trying to make art? With art supplies generally costing quite a lot, she saves a lot of money by buying her canvases and paints there.

Great job! For me, you can't beat Apple Barrel Acrylic paint for a cheap alternative. It's a pound a bottle over here in our pound shops, occasionally you may find them on clearance at 2 for a pound. I buy Acrylique brand paint from Dollar Tree, it works very well, all the colors have nice pigmentation and hold up well. It is on the thinner side, but still works great as a beginner paint, and for most projects! For paint brushes, at times they will sell Master Stroke paint brushes, which are great, and rival some of my expensive brushes! Be sure to keep an eye out for them.
I enjoyed this, I paint with watercolour, but I've always fancied trying acrylic but not the cost, now I've seen this I'm gonna do a dollar shop, shop and give it a whirl. Many thanks:)
I used to used cheap craft paint for my paintings and I did this huge masterpiece of this angel with giant raven wings. I won awards in art shows and I still have it that hanging up in my room. ☺😇
I'm a big fan of the Ceramcoat paint, I've painted boxes that haven't faded in years, I did however use a sealer and that might have made the difference.
My Dollar Tree has pretty darn good brushes for acrylic. Good points good flats and even an angled brush. I also managed to find what I assume was supposed to be for stencils but is way better for blending out colors than anything else.

Your 1 dollar paints has more quality than my 9 ringgits ones. I had to paint with food coloring 1st, then put the acrylics....coz they're too transparent...if I don't do that, I'll need infinite layers just to cover the white of the paper. I think you did a fantastic job with it!! I love your grinch!! Thanks
I watch the whole ads ‘cause I gotta help my girl out😪♥️
I buy Acrylique brand paint from Dollar Tree, it works very well, all the colors have nice pigmentation and hold up well. It is on the thinner side, but still works great as a beginner paint, and for most projects!
For paint brushes, at times they will sell Master Stroke paint brushes, which are great, and rival some of my expensive brushes! Be sure to keep an eye out for them.
I can’t paint a simple shape without going outside the lines. So answer me this:
HOW. DID. SHE. DO. THAT.
😂
I enjoyed this, I paint with watercolour, but I've always fancied trying acrylic but not the cost, now I've seen this I'm gonna do a dollar shop, shop and give it a whirl. Many thanks:)

I'm so addicted to cheap art supply videos and I don't know why!
1:14 Had to have high, high hopes for a living... P!ATD
I used to used cheap craft paint for my paintings and I did this huge masterpiece of this angel with giant raven wings. I won awards in art shows and I still have it that hanging up in my room. ☺😇
helloooo💛💛
your thumbnails and videos are the best and I love everything you do. your intros are the actual *best* and I really hope you keep it up
“He looks so happy”
Grinch: 😕
That canvas of the Grinch is my wallpaper. 😀😀 and it looks amazing.
wish i had thought of going to the dollar tree before i sold my first born......
I'm a big fan of the Ceramcoat paint, I've painted boxes that haven't faded in years, I did however use a sealer and that might have made the difference.
This is my art Process:
1. go to dollar tree and buy a buncha stuff
2. Go make some art
Bruh this was 7 months ago? I don’t remember this whatsoever
Honestly I think it looks great and cute!
Oh my gosh your hairline does the same stupid thin thing in two spots when pulled back Im not alone!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Grinch is one of my favorite characters!!!! Your painting is soooo cute!!!
“This paint isn’t that bad THE WHITE IS TERRIBLE ITS SO AWFUL” 😂 oh Chloe
My Dollar Tree has pretty darn good brushes for acrylic. Good points good flats and even an angled brush. I also managed to find what I assume was supposed to be for stencils but is way better for blending out colors than anything else.
Omg I luv Chloe she is soo inspiring and if she’s reading this i luv u boo I’m soo honored if u like this but I’m not forcing u anyway I really am a big fan and if u want u can find a way to HMU luv u boooo❤️😘🤪☺️😜❤️😘
oh nice! ive seen the palettes and the mod podge at my local dollar tree but never any paint! this is really good!
Chloe: * wears white while painting *
Me: Weird flex but okay.
I love this little painting!
arm and leg...................

That turned out so nice! Love the Grinch :)
I like the smell of mod podge. I'm weird I know
the 2 dollar shops (dollar stores) in Australia have a lot of art supplies: canvases, different paints, pencils, and other stuff
Your 1 dollar paints has more quality than my 9 ringgits ones. I had to paint with food coloring 1st, then put the acrylics....coz they're too transparent...if I don't do that, I'll need infinite layers just to cover the white of the paper. And the cheap canvas here....urghh.... Cheap stuffs is reallllly cheap in 3rd world countries.... But that's all I can afford, so I'll have to bear with them for now....
That is FANTASTIC😮😮😮
