      @RubenTrucks It isn't at all. Its basically being homeless.
      I would've stick with otr or any job that I had that's paying the most and use the income to save for a place. Then look for a different job but not leave my current job until I'm good to go with the next one and have a couple months worth of rent in my savings to hold the line if anything goes south.
      I'd rather atleast rent a room then live in my car.

      @yoshiroujones7483 it's more comfortable living in the truck... there is no way he can spread out in that car lol

      @rickschindler1556 for real im 6ft tall and I can lay down in my sleeper bed all stretched out and still have leg room. Plus I can stand up straight and do jumping jacks in my truck without hitting the ceiling or anything if I wanted to.
      Living in a sleeper isnt rough unless you're a messy person who doesn't prepare. I take free showers at Loves truck stop everyday since I started driving for my company.
      I have a 6 gallon water tank in one of the side panels outside for washing dishes.
      An electric double burner for cooking food.
      A mini fridge with a freezer.
      Slide out table
      Plenty of shelves and large cabinets to store things and 1 I use to store a trash bin, as a solo driver you can use the 2nd bed frame as overhead storage and shove the mattress from the 2nd bed under your bed for extra cushion, both my beds are memory foam.
      Dedicated hotspot that's not my phone attached to the truck for internet/wifi. (Very useful for the Garmin GPS)
      PS5 strapped down next to the bed and a tv mounted on the wall to play games and watch netflix.
      Side note my truck doesn't have a APU but it does have auto start with auto climate so it keeps the batteries charged while regulating the temperature inside without the engine unless it needs more power.

    It is concerning that living in a car is becoming more common, particularly in California. The state serves as an example of what the US could potentially resemble if it were to adopt socialist policies.

    • @augustineramos_
      @augustineramos_  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Well one reason why California is so expensive is because believe it or not a lot of people want to here because of the perfect weather and job opportunities. If you live in shitsville indiana, it’ll probably still be cheap 20 years from now cuz no one wants to live there.

    • @f.j.c4444
      @f.j.c4444 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I disagree that perfect weather and job opportunities have nothing to do with California being so expensive. In fact, it is expensive due to the state being in debt, regulations, people and businesses leaving, etc. Sooner or later, there won't be as many job opportunities. The ideology that it's worth it to live in a car while probably making 60k due to nice weather is wild. How does it feel that they are trying to approve 150k loans for houses for non-citizens in your state, yet you are living in a car and paying taxes?
