In the 1950-60s we were Five & Dime store shoppers. In the 1970s there were big discount stores in the ‘new’ shopping centers. It would be fun to transport you back and see your reactions. You also would have freaked out at the trading stamp (Green Stamp & Top Value) redemption centers. You guys have experienced such different childhoods than we did. Us old ones (69) have been very fortunate. I am grateful. Shop on!

Great finds! I found that LF stationary set with a diff graphic at Unique last year! The Pokémon play dough set is awesome! The Pumpkin Ghost mug rules too!

Omg that vintage Easter!!!!! I am in LOVE! Let me ask you, I want to go to some Estate Sales but I can’t do that early opening crazy crowd so do you find that you can still find some good stuff even maybe after the craziness dies down a little?
Totally! We’re starting to go later because of all the craziness and competition in the beginning. This was about an hour after the sale had started, we walked right in and the Easter was still there!

I found a magic pictures Barbie colouring golden book 1992 for 25p. It has printed British price and isbn (it’s in the British library) on it. I’m thinking of listing it for £20 + and postage too.

Does the head come off of the pink Easter bunny? It reminds me very strongly of what we would get from one of our aunts every year because there was so much candy. She would buy that kind of Easter bunny and fill it with jellybeans and that would be our candy from her. I would love to come across one of them now.
