Here from NS as well! Just bought the grey 2024 KLX300, my TST fender eliminator comes next Friday, and this exhaust will be my next add-on, Good video!
I put one on my klx250. Definitely picked up power and sounds great. If you really want to gain power, remove the secondary throttle plate. I also have the bigger snorkle and 02 delete and blocked the PAIR system. No fuel programmer. Runs great.ive seen and heard videos of several different exhaust systems and have yet to hear one that sounds as good.
I used the spark arrestor f or a while . Recently switched to the regular baffle. It's louder ,which surprised me, but I think it sounds better with a deeper sound.
I put that same muffler on my 22 KLX300 after I bought it. A bit more noise than I like but lighter than the stock boat anchor. BTW, that baffle is actually a spark arrestor and I'll never ride anything without one, especially here in the Colorado dry mountains.
I just bought the same exact bike three weeks ago. I'm looking forward to your videos about this bike. I live in North Las Vegas just 12 miles from the "Nellis Sand Dunes". I'm setting mine up for riding in the hard rocky desert. I just changed my front sprocket to a 13 tooth, and upgraded to Dunlap MX53 tires. It handles much better out in the desert terrain. My next upgrade is a muffler, tuner and snorkel. I don't care about sound so much as added horse power. Any recommendations? Why Delkevic vs FMF, or Yoshimura. I'm totally new to all of this.
Thanks for the comment. I don't have the experience to compare to the FMF or Yoshi. I chose Delkevic for a couple reasons. The look of it, and the budget! SO far, I notice an obvious difference in performance.
Sounds great ! Nice bike … I’m trying to find something available, either CRF300L or the KLX300 … I put a deposit on a CRF300LS ( the new Honda with a shorter seat ) but who knows when it will ever get here. I’m not obligated to buy it if I don’t want it and they’ll give me my $500 deposit back . I kinda like the Kawasaki though , I understand the suspension is adjustable and a bit better than the Honda ?
Funny story. I work in the car industry, and have employee pricing with Honda as well wouldn't pay extra fees. And still chose to go Kawasaki. For me it was concern over the suspension, but also I really wanted the classic white/green! I suppose it all comes down to preference. In really lumpy terrain I bet that front suspension of the Honda is terrifying!
Dude what do you think of the stock front tire on the roads because I have the same bike and year and the front tire pulls me all over the place ???????? Just on road I was thinking the tire was defective.
If the road is an older(ish) worn down one with the rubber fill cracks then yes! I've actually pullled over a few times assuming I had a flat tire. Super freaky at speed!
I replaced the stock front tire ( Dunlop 605) on mine almost before I needed to refill my first tank of gas. I’ve been through a few now and the Pirelli MT21 is by far the best tire yet.
Best practice with O2 sensor is to unplug it at the harness so you don't have to worry about twisting up and or damaging the cable. It's more work, but worth not having to risk damaging your expensive O2 cable. Good way to justify buying an O2 delete and tuner though 😂
@@ryandidthis No problem. I ordered a spark arrestor as the listing said it didn't include one. I guess we'll see if I end up with two spark arrestors, haha.
Oooooooo good luck when the the cops show up. Happened to me and this piece of crap is in no way compliant with anything in the USA. Save your self a $1500 ticket and buy a yoshi.

Love it! Welcome to the club 👊👊 you're gonna love the bike. And these simple mods..10/10!

All of a sudden i feel very blessed to have a garage.
Yeah for sure! This wasn't ideal, but I guess it sounds cool in the underground haha
I havent had a garage in 4yrs..cany stand it..dont take it for granted.
I love how you mentioned where you bought the exhaust from. I love that you included a link for us.
@@Freeman-ij5xy thank you sir! Tried to be helpful
Sounds awesome!!
sounds way nicer with the new exhaust!
So much better!

Good idea! We experienced brutal wild fired last summer here too. I won't think to ride without the spark arrestor in either. Thanks!
Thanks Ryan. Great video!
Glad you liked it!
Great job brother! ☮️❤️🙏🏻

@@ryandidthis Yes it looks better than the other two manufacturers. If you like black, delkevic has the carbon fiber model.
Please indicate part number and supplier? I rjn a 2018 klx250 camo
I thought the new pipe with the baffle sounded the best.
Thanks homie, thats how I decideed to keep it and still rock it! Sounds wicked
Have you had any performance problems or at idle with this exhaust and stock air intake?
Nope! Not a single issue. It's honestly been perfect. Itty bit more power. 100% better sound!
@Ryan Does this exhaust come with 2 baffles? Or is the spark arrester insert purchased separately?
I just received mine in the mail and it comes w the spark arrestor insert

@@ryandidthis It almost feeling like the tire is skating on ice.

Maybe a great winter project idea! Project for me, simple for someone with a brain lol
0:48 Is that the baffle or the spark arrestor? It looks like a spark arrestor to me.
I think I did mix em up. Someone else mentioned the same thing and I'll admit I'm clueless hahaha
@@ryandidthis No problem. I ordered a spark arrestor as the listing said it didn't include one. I guess we'll see if I end up with two spark arrestors, haha.
Thank you 🙏
Hope it helped!
Hello, can you send me the link where you bought the exhaust?
I have it linked in the field below the vid. Highly recommended!
U need a header, get more power
There you have it - proof that tattoos do NOT equal mechanical ability like they once did.
HAHA I TRIED🤓
Will this pass inspection?
I'm not sure lol i have my inspection good until april 2025 so I guess I'll find out then!
Stock 👍👍
Would you have the part # ?
link in the video bro! i gotchu
Personally I think the stock pipe has a good sound when you’re on it
F**K, I want a Delkevic for my KLX300SM now!
I love it, the look, sound, and notice a bit of power improvement too!
Where did you get it,I like it
Oooooooo good luck when the the cops show up. Happened to me and this piece of crap is in no way compliant with anything in the USA. Save your self a $1500 ticket and buy a yoshi.
I'm not in USA, but I don't think police enforce stuff like that where I live
or buy the real spark arrestor or move out of California
Do you eat soy..?
because im an idiot or because my tiddies?
