very few people go to every race, he said in another video its only around 20 photographers, so seeing him around all the time, they are sure to get along.
Looking forward to the race next year!. It was also a great to meet you! It was nice to see Lewis, George, Checo, and Alex interact with the fans. Everyone was there having a good time and the drivers really seemed to enjoy it. And this was only the launch party! Next year will probably be insane
@Kym Illman: thank you for sharing this with us. This is as close as most of us will get to the LV Grand Prix as it appears they have priced it out of the range for the average F1 fan.
Big thing about the grandstand ticket prices I think is just that there are way less grandstands than somewhere like Austin. It’s 2 main zones: start/finish straight and turn 2 area, and then the second zone around turn 4/5 by the MSG sphere that they’re building. No options on the strip or final chicane, as I’m assuming all of the hotels are going to have some kind of VIP viewing + room packages, along with hospitality suites
this is the first of your videos that i've watched. I "met" you when you stopped by at LAX and talked to Kevin with Airlines Video Live. Great content - looking forward to more! The 2023 F1 season can't start soon enough!
😂 I love when Caesar’s Palace has their statue in theme! For EDC 2012 I did a double take at seeing Caesar raving with headphones, glow stick necklace, kandy bracelets while holding daisies. It was the perfect sight to see while arriving into town because it gets you so excited as a beautiful start to the weekend. I had a gut feeling they might embrace it for Formula 1 and boy did they exceed my expectations. That racing Caesar statue is ❤️🔥 sickkk. And who would’ve ever thought they’d be RACING AND DRIVING DOWN THE STRIP!! That’s just insane I can’t fathom it. Even my mom said she wanted to go when she heard about it and she doesn’t even watch F1 lol. (Edc was at the Las Vegas motor speedway, which was kinda far from actual Las Vegas it was a long shuttle/limo/carpool ride there and now I want to look up the history of that track. I just remember thinking how huge it was I mean there was 7 stages and like 300,000 people. Or $200 for a 1-way helicopter ride into the track which I didn’t do. But one of my favorite memories was being at the main stage and everyone starts to look up and you can see these moving streams of fire in the sky and up on the big screens you had a view of what they were seeing, which was us really far away, a camera angled at their face and the fire behind them. I noticed it was 6 Red Bull sky divers and after they jumped out and were falling they had these pyro flames behind them so as they fell above us it was a beautiful display of what felt like a firework ballet. I can’t explain it. It’s always stuck with me and it’s little moments like those they always do that’s added to why I like Red Bull so much. How can you not be a fan when they’ve been a part of some of your best memories?
Austin local here. We want to make the Vegas race but as you mentioned....its out of control expensive for a normal person. Oh well, maybe prices will improve on the next one. For now we'll just keep going to the Austin race.
Hi kym greetings from Thailand Las Vegas stunning been a couple of times will try get tickets probably not easy getting from here to Vegas keep doing all your videos love em
it's insane to think of the ticket prices in other places. And American GP tickets such as Miami and LV seem way more pricer compared to our Aus GP. 2.5K USD can get you into some paddock clubs at the Aus GP but I guess once u factor in cost to run an event at a place like LV it makes sense. Hope the racing is good. A very long straight so keen for a lot of overtaking :)
We went to our first gp this yr in Italy….it was a 1/3 of the price of Austin…and an Italian vacay :) Austria is on my bucket list now and Belgium. Frankly the list keeps growing :)
Looks awesome. Wish I could go. I signed into Ticketmaster early and didn't have my chance to buy tickets until 26 mins after the hour by which point, the only available tickets were $2K for grandstand. Fair to say this race sold out on the primary ticket market in a matter of a few minutes.
I do expect it will be a good show and quite the spectacle but will the racing be any good? I’d take a race at Laguna Seca, Road America, or Watkins Glen. I think Miami and Vegas are more about the show than the racing.
These 3 would be awesome to watch, but idk if the current F1 car would be a good race at Watkins Glen, all the braking zones are short in a road car there, it would be insane to see the cars speed through the esses, bus stop literally all of it, but I don't think there'd be much passing, again Id still 100% watch. I also don't think the other two have the proper FIA standards, or for that matter idk what the Glens is either.
Alex was correct about the crowd, drunk and don't care about F1. This is an opportunity to be seen and posted on social media. Crazy prices for the organizers will keep the F1 faithful away just like in Miami. I'd rather see races at some of the old historic courses.
I live in Vegas and this rings true for a lot of people I spoke to at this event. Those of us who have been fans for a while are bummed about the prices, but it was expected given what happened with Miami and DTS. I was explaining plenty of the sport to rich tourists who flew in just to "be at the party" yesterday. A lottery system for regular people to score some tickets would be great in the coming months seeing as the tickets that went on sale were for like maybe a quarter of the track so there's plenty of opportunity for F1 to make it right, but hey, the FIA is just FIFA minus one "F" so no way would they ever not go for more money. Sad.
I love how the F1 community wholesomly loves kym being around and are starting to be around more
very few people go to every race, he said in another video its only around 20 photographers, so seeing him around all the time, they are sure to get along.
This is the best F1 channel on TH-cam. Such a great insight into the spectacle of F1. Thanks Kym, for bringing this content to us.
My pleasure. Tell all your mates pls.
One thing is for sure, this race is gonna be another paradise for Kym to shoot some super-banger photos!
Love how natural and more conversation the interviews are compared to sit down ones. I'm loving Alex more and more lately! Great video!
It was a relaxed situation
Better report than anything in any news media. Great stuff Kym
I try my best!

Excellent video Kym. Love the documentary feel with interviewing Alex, Gunther, etc.
Loved the chat with Alex!
God, I love me some Natalie Pinkham....That woman's voice, lord have mercy 😍
Love the talk with lily, she seems so sweet
@Kym Illman: thank you for sharing this with us. This is as close as most of us will get to the LV Grand Prix as it appears they have priced it out of the range for the average F1 fan.
Very true of F1 but also starting to be all travel and entertainment. Concerts are terrible too.

The mercedes glowlight was really cool!
Albon and the bucket hat. 🤣
He’s a champion!
should've worn the VB77 edition 🤔
Gilligan!
@@KymIllman he rocks it.
I can see that Kym is a great fan of The Hangover, really good references!
Huge fan. Watch it at least once a year
we definitely need more Lily Muni He content from F1 channels and the likes
Love the Hangover parts of this video, great stuff 😆
I love that movie!
That missing tooth reference at the end to Hangover was a genius move! 🎉
It came off easily thankfully
Hey! That's me (6 seconds in!)! Haha. Great video. As always! Great to meet you!!!! What an INCREDIBLE event!

Good to see the stig is keeping busy
I have liked inside Las Vegas launch party as F1 is going to race at place for 2023 season.
This ones a banger Kym! 🔥 Thanks for the trip
Any time!

Cool to see the addition of the f1 personalities in your videos
I can shoot video outside the track but unfortunately photography accreditation doesn’t commit us to shoot video or audio Inside the tracks
It's going to be excellent when it's all done. Thanks for the insight!
Thanks for watching!
love to see gunther smiling rather than grumpy.
Meeow Natalie... Nice video Kym!👍

Great to hear Arnav!
I liked your bucket hat at the beginning, was that VB's?
It was
Love the video and smile
Wow, looks like F1 Las Vegas is going to be a spectacular event with millions of dollars going in all directions!! Should be great even on TV.
We not gonna mention Kyms grills at the end of the video🤣
Great video once again.
Ticket prices on par with Singapore which have been similar for a few years now
Off to Brazil 😅
Terrific video as always. Natalie Pinkham sighting 😍
Many thanks!
I'm liking the look of the track layout.
Doesnt look good tbh
It looks excellent!
@@williamyip11 much better that Monaco or Miami
🤣
@@williamyip11 Looks way better than the previous F1 race in Vegas.
Driving down the strip will be incredible.
Let's rename this race to the "who can come up with the most The Hangover references Grand Prix.
8:15 Forgot about Singapore now didn't we...
Hahaha loved the tooth Easter egg at the end! By far the best Vegas recap I’ve seen, thanks very much for showing us!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very nice job !
Glad you like it!
Fantastic video! Also the interviews are really nice
Always appreciate the insights
Much appreciated!
9:00 That´s dedication!
Kym you the man. That’s cool 😎 in USA 🇺🇸😉 Vegas needs to be a ‘sprint weekend’ !! It would be a wonderful chaos for everyone to enjoy !!
We need to petition the FIA to make Vegas a Sprint weekend !!!
Yo Kim! Cool meeting you man! I know you enjoyed Vegas 😉
I had a blast!
I see the level up. At this rate it's gonna be Kym Illman Network LLC
Welcome to Las Vegas!! I still can't believe I live in a city that will have a GP!!
Excellent for you! Now I just need a GP in Perth

Have you already made your accommodation arrangements for next year?
Hi Kym thanks for a great video $500 US for a 3 day general admission ticket including food isn't to bad at all especially considering it is Las Vegas
There was no $500 ga tickets for the public 😂 everything was bought up from the casinos
Alex is such a good kid lol don’t take him Vegas. Don’t swallow up Alex Albon he’s too pure.
Natalie would swallow him whole for breakfast 😂
He needs chapstick asap
@@Aaaaa69999 AGREED. Somebody introduce him to Carmex
Alex with his bucket hat looked liked Gilligan ! 😂
Here for my Queen Lily😍😍❤️
She’ll be happy to hear that
Love the interactions with all the "F1 people"
It was a great opportunity away from the track
I hope you consider a Meet and Greet for your fans in Las Vegas Kim. I would love a chance to thank you personally for all of your photos and videos.
It will be on I guarantee it.
Günther is a total legend ❤❤❤❤
Excellent bloke!
Where was Max V.?
Alex is a lovely guy
He certainly is!
Great video! watched all 9:26
Thanks for the visit
I love your content Kym. I only have one friend though so sorry I can't get you more views.
I’ll take your view.
Giligan?
Where will you stay for next year Vegas race?
Not sure yet.
Haha… Love the missing tooth Kym😂😂
I had a big night before!
Lol good luck getting tickets, they pretty much sold out in the presale
Demand far exceeded supply that’s for sure
Gunther being famous he should thank DtS for that.
$500 GA is standing room only, which is ridiculous
I love Guenther!
Call jump online order one of his signed Prints now, Kymillman.com
Just remember, "What happens in Vegas stays ......... in. ........ What happens in Vegas, stays on TH-cam and Facebook forever."
Nope! lol I'm not paying that for those tickets. I'd rather watch it from home in 4k on my big ass TV.
You’ll see more.
alex albon is just like any other tourist with that jumper and hat....
Simple yet effective
Those prices... LOL. No thank you. I'd rather fly somewhere exotic. like Montreal. I'm in Toronto..
Thanks for the video though Kym.
Permission granted

Lucky I managed to make my flight this morning!
❤
I'll call it now, this will just be another Singapore track, only dry and cold (possibly) or just cool.
Noted
I am a little relieved that 3 day General Admission is $500. That is not too bad for an F1 Race.
There’s no $500 tickets for the public 😂 those tickets were bought up from casinos to make vip packages
And apparently includes food and soft drinks
Last year Miami??? Hahaha
All we know is, that's the Stig's Statuesque cousin.
This video was better then f1 live event with half the content just saying!
I hope the track gives us more excitement than it looks. Looks like a l"eft turn" NASCAR track
Remember, this is where they make demolishing an old building into an evening's entertainment.
Nice black tooth Kym a very good look for you.
I thought so too!
Mercedes pimp car, all about the show… Btw, I didn’t know The Stig had a brother……
am i only one not looking forward to this race
Like Jim Clark used to say, that's more like a Mickey Mouse track.
1:33 Is that Steve bannon? I'm quite surprised F1 wants to be associated with that dumpsterfire of an individual..
