Differential locks would help but it causes wear and tear on the axles. Its really not needed. A more aggressive set of tires would help whether its G177s or super singles. Just depends on your application. I like the look of larger dual wheels and you still have torque for towing. Super singles would be great off road but would really slow the truck down on hills and towing unless the fuel is turned up.

I love Deuces, but they need a few things. Bob tail it, throw a set of 54 inch military NDT's on it, throw some lockers in the pumpkins, yank the underpowered slug from under the hood and replace it with a 375 Horse diesel then go conquer the woods.

U guy's R ruining those beautiful M-35s. before you take them in the water or mud , did you remember to put the clutch plug in the bottom of the Bell housing?

Lockers would really help that truck in the beginning. In fact after 3 lockers, it would be damn near invincible.

a locker on all 3 axles solves a LOT of issues. That and using better tires than the crap they came with.

yep, you can go with a normal Detroit locker or even better an ARB air locker.

That first driver's engine governor was set WAY too high!! All the rest of them sounded ok.

Truck has a full factory pressurized fording kit.
must be an ADD-ON that came out after I retired. However, you still need added weight and stop over running the engine.
+Michael Hamilton Hard to over-rev an engine with a mechanical governor. At no point are they turning more than 2600 RPM.
