I’ve been waiting on the Chooch Tech review of the V13. According to his review, the Inmotion V13 will be a solid purchase for my style of riding. I am no longer on the fence about my next euc it will be a V13. Thanks Chooch.
Hi Chooch. Do you remember the issue with the tire pressure on V12HT? The same company made the tire for V13. Just read on the side of the tire: max 40 PSI for 180kg rider. The wobble issues may also be the result of excess of pressure on the tire. For your weight and style, I would try with 25 PSI. Give it a try and share your thoughts with us. Finally we see the Challenger being driven the way it was made for. Thanks dude, awesome ride and review as usual. 😉
Feels too good to be true, you have a one wheel electric motorcycle without any rules, insurance or limitation on riding, sadly this wheel might spawn more restrictive laws, ect. Cause this much fun, freedom and flexibility can't last. People not having this much fun will complain, and people that are not smart will crash on these things at full speed. So probably best to own one now in the grey zone of legality before all that happens!
This is the first time I've seen something from the EUC scene since I initially got my old Ninebot One E+. I gotta emphasize just how crazy far EUCs have come since that particular flagship model released around 2015/2016. (Which for comparison for the lurkers, boasted 14 mph/22kph max cruise speed and about 16miles/25km range.)
Great advice on the wobbles. Could’ve used that information last may just when I was new to riding and broke my left shoulder on the Sherman Max. Exactly how you said. Was new and gave it too much speed and tried braking quickly, and whoah speed wobble big time !! Threw me like a rag doll !! I’m super experienced now. Don’t get wobbles no more. Thanks brother!!🙏
Braking pads should be located _high_ and further to the rear on the wheel such that you can sit down as if you were on an invisible chair mounted off the back of the wheel and the braking pad is supporting the upper calf. This resolves the wobbles because you are in maximal contact with the furthest two points of the wheel's shell.
Was waiting for your review,i was getting worried for a bit. I thought i might have to lend you mine. Great riding as usual, i knew you would put it through it's paces. I love the wheel also, its a great tank.
I also live in Denver and i was thinking about getting a v12 ht as my first euc and to replace my broken vehicle until the snow comes. Do we need motorcycle licenses with these?
Hey, man! I just got my v12 yesterday! Waiting on my kinetic pads, should be in few days. Not sure if you still have a v12 but would you ever ride it again? 🙏🏻
Chooch great points and analysis of V13, great video shots, great presentation etc, all top notch, thanks. Any chance you might try to get rid of the echo in your garage presentation? One thing you can try is getting and pairing Open Comm aftershokz noise canceling headset through Bluetooth to your insta360 X3. Echoing background just drives me up a wall lol especially when everything else is top shelf :). Keep it coming 😊 and keep the good work
Yo Chooch! Please do a video or let's chat about places to ride out here around Denver. I recognize some of the spots you're at, but you've found some gems. Thanks for the great content as always.
I could have missed it but how was the offroading like compared to the V12HT and T4? It looks like the Patton is going to be the beast for offroad but I'm looking for something that will do both on and offroad decent where the V13 will likely crush the Patton in non offroad settings
Get better pads. I rode the v13, it's heavy lol. It takin me awhile to get used to stopping heavier wheel pads and technique is key. To stop the v13 easier and safer have good pads and lean back like sitting on a chair. Your back pad position is important to battle wobbled depending on the balanced placement that works for you, everyone's different. Hope your alright btw.
Great video! 😊❤️🤙 Now that I've been riding the T4, with #C3BioPads (mine are light blue 💙) I finally have a much better understanding of your videos & riding EUC. +450m already 😅 I was a bit worried about layer adhesion on my set as well, to DIY fix you have to reheat/melt the plastic together but let me know if ClarkPads offers to fix the failure?? 💙✌️🤙
The other day, I went back 'home' to visit family, and brought both of my EUCs along for the ride.. I got a V13 last fall, then blew out my back, so didn't get to ride it until' this early summer, then another injury.. So I got an A2 - since they're so much smaller/lighter.. Anyways.. Rode the hell out of both of them over the past few days, and DAMN that V13 is FUN!!!! I hoped that it would feel like 'stand up riding' on a motorcycle, and Yup, that's damn near Exactly what it was! [On my Dual-Sports, I do more stand up riding than not - when in trails, or scenic routs] BIG Take-Away... Don't get too used to the agile / precision handling of the A2 [or similar] and then hop right on the V13 and 'expect it to turn'... hahaha They should be equipped w/ rear stickers that say: "This Vehicle Makes Wide Turns". 🤣 🤘 Sam -
Great review, thanks for putting the effort into it. WW was dissen hard on this wheel, I appreciate your observations. As it is so heavy, if you crashed at 50mph, the thing would keep travelling at least another a couple hundred yards after you came off. This makes me think that this wheel needs to be tethered to the rider to prevent damage to others. Given the fact that it almost weighs as much as me, I imagine being dragged that extra distance. Perhaps they could develop a shoot that deployed once rider weight left the peddles 🤣This is my only concern with this wheel, sooner or later one is going to come off.
28:03 for me its like, I control my wheel or rather my weight with the right leg, the left leg is slightly more forward, and I ride rather a lil angled and the left leg gives me that forward momentum while the right is there for balance check and stops. I start with my Right leg on the wheel tho and push myself of with the left
Man, I don’t know about the older guys shit. I’m 54 and crashed hard last year. Some road rash, etc. Jumped a speed bump at 20 mph being chased by a Rottweiler. Was sent 10’ into the air and flew about 20’ before landing. Been riding for 3 years on an Inmotion v8. Love it, but given a 20 mph. limit, crashing on this 115# wheel tells me I’m going to the hospital….no doubt. Doesn’t mean I have to ride it that fast. But, I usually push the upper limits of things. Can’t imagine even getting close to 40 mph let alone 50. Now with that said…I weigh 180#. I am very fit, very strong. Strong legs. Max squat at 700#. Regular at 500#. I think I’m strong enough. But, all that talk of jumping obstacles at speed?….no friggin’ way. Sliding sideways? Oh, hell no. I don’t bounce like I used to. Wobble? Aw, shit. Just me saying it. Good luck all you older guys. I’ve always been an extreme sports kind of guy my whole life. The daredevil In me says I would like to ride one just once though and see how it feels before committing to it. Is there a store out there that lets you try before you buy? I am tempted.
to reach 30mph on my v12 I didn't have to lean too far forward. But to reach +35mph I end up feeling like I'm going to fall off the front of damn thing lol. There must be some setup to get it to rip w/o having to lean so much
I had the v12 high speed with grizzla pads and to touch 35 plus wasn't hard it was just sketchy with the wind hitting them speeds on a 16 inches light wheel . I would lean and push my knees into the grizzla pads and push down with the front of my toes and had zero issues hitting 35 plus just sketchy as hell imo
Used your link to ewheels 7 months ago and still haven't received the V13. Ewheels has not been communicating very well. Last thing I heard from ewheels was that they were waiting for bolts. Ewheels can't get the job done. I am glad that they have gotten the V13 to all you vloggers but as a paying customer I can't understand why they are making us wait. I have heard that if you cancel your order then you will be penalized. If Alien rides can promise next day delivery IDK why ewheels is sitting on my 4000usd.
Speaking about going through things brings me to what happened to me today. On s22 I went through skateboarder at an intersection, went right through him 😆 board went one way he went right into the light post. It was wonderful
It’s a cool wheel, no doubt, but I can’t help but feel you’d lose the wheel if you were in an urban or suburban area and rode it out in traffic to commute. I saw a video of a person on a Sherman getting pulled over in Arlington, VA. They aren’t legal at those speeds and police will see you try it.
More torque nah it seems like that just cause the v13 is a heavy wheel but it will blow the s22 pro away the components on the v13 is way better it's by far fast and high quality s22 has cut out issues along with bolt issues bad quality 😮
You get less speed wobbles on a heavy wheel but you wouldn't no the more weight at high speeds keeps you and the euc planted . Your just a fan of the s22 no issue but facts is facts 😆
The battery pack is worse then the v13 and the v13 has way way way more power then the s22 could ever imagine look at the specs v13 falls short with range cause of the batter but that's about it
Skip the commander pro, it may seem like a good value but it's poorly made. I wouldn't trust it. I rode the v13 but pilot a s22 on the reg. Vastly 2 different wheels. The s22 great on trails, jumps, stairs all around fun. If your looking for a long range cruiser with a suspension, I would recommend the Sherman-S. If your a big rider like 220 pounds and over 6 feet the v13 would suit you well (and experienced rider), but expect a 45 to 50 mile range on the v13. Sherman should get around 90 miles.
@@dirt.surfer I too would highly recommend a Sherman S, as I mainly use my EUC going to and from my work and home only. One of few youtubers who really shreds shit out of all euc. I really like your riding style props!
Great riding footage and one of the few that conveys the excitement of riding the V13.
Nobody makes me want a certain wheel more than Chooch haha

Great review. This is exactly what I expected from Chooch and the reason I pushed Inmotion to send him a v13 to review.
I can't wait to recieve mine tomorrow. Looking forward going from gotway nikola+ to V13. Great vid with good shots.
I disagree about it not being a race wheel. Stay tunned for my review. Great video man. Glad you got to ride this beast

Strength helps on the v13 a new tire solves wobble without any muscles I was extremely surprised swapped it at 600 miles.
Did you swap it to Michelin Pilot Street 2?
Braking pads should be located _high_ and further to the rear on the wheel such that you can sit down as if you were on an invisible chair mounted off the back of the wheel and the braking pad is supporting the upper calf. This resolves the wobbles because you are in maximal contact with the furthest two points of the wheel's shell.
My word the area covered with this v13 and the speed at which it does it🤯
Did you let Clark know about the power pad vulnerability?

They need to make a master pro version of the v13
V13 needs a new version with same power but bigger battery for longer rides

when are you getting your hands on a Sherman S?
I was beginning to think something happened. I was like it’s been 9 days since his last video…. 😬😅
Are EUC’s required to stop at lights and stop signs?
